- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2013Size: 64 GBVerified PurchaseI chose this stick because I use it for work and I needed something reliable. I bought it over 6 months ago and I am quite satisfied.
I am getting 20 MB/s read speed and 13 MB/s write speed between this drive and my SSD.
I use it daily to run virtual machines , so I have all sorts of access, read/write and no issues at all. I also used it to reinstall my computer OS so USB boot worked like a charm.
I also like the slim factor. It runs hot (86 F / 30 C I would say) if you do a lot of reading for 1 or 2 hours, but it doesn't slow down.
I was so satisfied that I bought one for my father for Christmas.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2015Size: 32 GBVerified PurchaseI was disappointed to find these are re-branded Kingston flash drives - or at least using the Kingston controller. I plugged this in to my computer and I couldn't find it because it comes up as a Kingston Product.
Aside from that, they are fast, just like the Kingston ones. I liked the low profile these are which is part of the reason I purchased it, also I used to buy Mushkin RAM back in the day and liked it so, I've definitely found the memory manufacturers are crushing the Flash market in quality and performance.
I run programs off this flash drive using USB 3.0 and it gets pretty warm even though it's low I/O....low as in the program opens I copy in a picture, export it then save it. Only time it read/writes is when I save. However, the heat seems to be a new feature of Flash drives with higher performance. As mentioned before I love the low profile this flash drive has, where as a lot of the Kingston ones are huge lego blocks - I don't lose flash drives so I don't need massive flash drives to remind me where they are.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2022Size: 32 GBVerified PurchaseI was happy with this. Impressed with the read and write speeds... much faster than USB2. Then I plugged it into a TV to play a video. It worked fine, but I left it there for a while. When I removed it was pretty hot - but not too hot to hold. Plugged into a computer and --- nothing, dead as a doornail, so to speak. Waited overnight so it was cooled off and tried it in other computers - same result. It's toast.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2013Size: 16 GBVerified PurchaseMedium-old machines won't flashboot from them. They sometimes don't immediately work even in modern machines usb3 ports and you have to unplug, switch ports, pray to _______, and then they work.
Decent write speed means it takes a while to copy your 10gs of crap to them. Amazing read speed means you copy it back off in half the time or less. If they were more reliable they would be perfect for what we wanted them for: installing/imaging windows onto broken Dells at work. With the glitchiness we're still having to use our usb2 Sandisks. Sans-fun. :(
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2014Size: 64 GBVerified PurchaseAs far as thumb drives go physically, this thing is extremely well built. Solid slim construction and good feel with the metal casing.
As far as thumb drives go digitally, this thing is absolutely bad ass. A lot of USB 3.0 drives claim speed and performance, and can cost nearly 2-3X the price, yet for the price this one absolutely blows most all 3.0 drives out of the water.
Even on my X79 machine without a native USB 3.0 controller (VIA powered like almost all early 3.0 systems), the drive can be written to at ~90MB/s and it will read at ~200MB/s which makes copying large files like movies onto this drive a breeze. On a standard USB 2.0 drive it can take hours to write 64G of files onto the drive, not the case with this baby. It is a pleasure to work with and move files around quickly, and the upgradable Firmware leaves the potential that even more performance could be squeezed out of this drive with a future update.
Don't look anywhere else for a USB 3.0 Flash Drive. Buy this one now!

***always take all reviews with a grain of salt as almost every product has bad reviews at least 10% if i was scared off of every product that had some bad reviews i'd have no products.. lol the key is to read the 2 or 3 star reviews and look for recurring patters.. good luck

4.0 out of 5 stars ordentlich flotter Stick...

5.0 out of 5 stars Bisher sehr zufrieden

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Flash drive
Size: 64 GBVerified PurchaseGreat Flash drive. I have it only about a month and works great. Before I had some Kingmax and Scandisk (I don't remember the exact model) which were good but died in less than a year, and I still have Mushkin Mulholland 16GB about 2 years. This is a good upgrade and I hope it will be reliable as the one that I have.
Some people have complained about heat. I always use extension cord with all Flash drives, since otherwise they get heated up from my laptop. If you use extension cable the Flash drive doesn't heat up. Hope I helped.

4.0 out of 5 stars Schnell, groß und fast perfekt
