It is a good organizing solution for Legos

It is a good organizing solution for Legos
This is an ingenious organizing solution that does double duty because it will lay flat and the kids can use their creations on a surface with a road and train track. Most of the time though my son just uses this to put his Legos and Lego instructions away and it stays in the box shape most of the time. When it was new we played with it a little, but my son is 5 and not as impressed by the landscape as you may think. That being said, it is still a nice neat box with Velcro on the sides so the lid stays on. The zippers on the side sometimes unzip while he is playing, but it is not a problem to pull them back up. Overall I am pleased with the functionality and the neatness of it. I do not know how many Lego fit in the box. It is fairly large and I posted a picture with one of the Lego green building plates for reference.

My daughter has a lot of Legos, and I was looking for some way to store them neatly. This does the trick ... and more! I love that she can actually use this as a playing mat, and then just zip everything up when she is finished. Super easy! She can store her in-process and finished projects in there, too, without having to disassemble them. It's great for when she plays at the kitchen table ... when it's time to eat, she zips up the box, moves her Legos, and we can use the table again. And when supper is done, she can unzip the box and go right back to playing.
When I first saw the box, it looked smaller than I imagined, and I thought that it might be too small for all her Legos. Once I started putting them in the box, though, I saw that it holds more than expected!

This and other ZipBins are truly wonderful, versatile, portable and durable storage and play containers. A great way to keep all the Legos in one, handy container and a nice, portable play mat as well. We have several of the ZipBins and all are well worth the price, come in a variety of styles/colors and sizes, and are safe and sturdy toy boxes. Try 'em, they are so much nicer than the wood or plastic toy boxes.

My 4 year old son just got his first set of "big kid" legos a couple months ago and loves building with them on this mat. It's big enough to hold at least 5 of the smaller sets of Lego juniors with room to spare. Yet it's small enough that he can carry it to where he wants to play. The corner zippers have pull cords so it's relatively easy for him to unzip the sides by himself, though he still needs some help zipping it back together. If he doesn't want to unzip the mat, he can build inside the lid which also has a "city" scene on the underside. The only two issues I've noticed are that the sides don't lay completely flat because of the zippers (not a big deal yet since my 4 year old is certainly no "master builder") and that it's not sturdy enough to stack anything on top of it. Other than that I'm very pleased with it. It's the most kid-friendly storage I've found.

Great size for our medium-sized collection of Legos, mostly out of the 80's. Have you seen The Lego Movie? Yeah, all our Lego guys look pretty much like Benny. BUT, that means we don't have a zillion specialty pieces that go God-only-knows-where. Nope, we have those green boards and then just regular ol' red, yellow, blue, and white pieces without pictures or other crap. It's a nice collection, but it was a little cumbersome in the container we'd been using.
I picked up this bin on lightening deal and it's been a great new home for the Legos. The kids don't actually play with the "board" that it unzips into too often, but they do like to unzip the sides so that all four of them have equal access to the pieces at once. I like that the lid velcros into place and that there are side handles with which to put this bin back into its spot.
    Overall a great value.

I bought this for my sons for taking Legos when we travel. I bought this one because it shows handles that are long so you can carry it in one hand, however, when I received the product, it only had 2 small handles for carrying like a moving box. Was disappointed that it wasn't the same as the picture provided of the product on Amazon.

My youngest is really into the Lego city collection. She has a hard time of keeping her creations built. THis box was great for storing the smaller sets whole. The playmat (when the box is unzipped and flat) was a plus too. It is colorful and sturdy but the zipper sides are an issue. two of the side on our box did not have zipper stops so when my daugther un-zipped to use the playmat the zippers just came right off. Now this item is useless as a storage box. When you purchase, checck the zippered corners over very well before using. If the stops are missing, send it back.
