I'll start by being honest - I don't like dry shampoos. I find that they rarely work at all for me, usually have an odd smell and leave a lot of residue behind, making me feel like I've dipped my head in a bucket of chalk.

That being said, this shampoo is by far the best of the bunch. Yes, they don't work for me, but this one comes the closest to it, and has none of the bad aspects that other brands do. It smells lovely, without the odd chemical after-smell of many others, doesn't leave a lot of residue, and actually leaves my hair feeling somewhat silky rather than dry and dead.

I won't go so far as to say dry shampoo is a great invention, but if you do like them, this one is a definite must-try. I'll be continuing to buy it, if only as a hair refresher for days when I want my hair smelling a little more tropical than most shampoos allow (it has a nice clean scent that's a mix of coconut and baby powder - doesn't sound great on paper but smells lovely)

Just used the product once, left white powder in the hair and I couldn't really make out the difference it made to my hair. However, I couldn't use the product again as the spray can didn't work, probably the can was faulty. Tried numerous techniques to make the can work but without success. Will not recommend.

I have to wash my hair every 2 days as my scalp gets so oily but my ends are very dry due to damage. I decided to try it and am glad I did. It basically buys me a day without having to shampoo if I simply don't feel like it. The main ingredient in most of these is corn starch or corn flour so you can imagine what a sweaty scalp mixed with that will do.....Yeah paste. Go lightly, I simply spray my fringe lightly and brush.

I bought this dry shampoo because I don't like the strong scent of Batiste and wanted to try something more natural and I was attracted by the low price and positive reviews. First of all, this product is definitely not natural and, contrary to the description, is not made from 100% coconut oil at all but a concoction of synthetic chemicals, alcohol and perfume. However it does smell more natural than Batiste and isn't as overpowering (for coconut lovers only). It also doesn't leave white powder in your hair (as some other reviewers have mentioned) although this may be its downfall as I found that my hair was just as greasy as before I used the product - in fact I found my hair was not only still greasy but oily too from the coconut oil. It didn't make my sensitive scalp itch but again that's because its too gentle. The only other positive was that it made my hair really soft once brushed through (hence the two stars) but I think I'll be reluctantly returning to Batiste. It's a shame as this product has such a potential to be great but falls short at its usefulness. I'll be waiting until they change the formula before I consider this a rival.

I've never used dry shampoo before so can't compare it to other products. I have very long, fine hair that I can only wash every other day otherwise it gets damaged. My roots do get a little oily on the second day and having heard my sister rave about dry shampoos I thought I'd give one a go.

The first thing I noticed about this product is the smell. After a few quick bursts of this I had to open all the windows upstairs as the smell was so over-powering. I was expecting a fresh coconut smell but actually I think this smells more like a sickly smelling air-freshener.

It did appear to improve the appearance of my hair initially (very subtly), but after an hour or so at work it looked the same as it did beforehand. However maybe this was because I didn't put enough product on due to the smell. If it wasn't so strong, I'd try it again and use more of it but as it is I think I'll pass it onto my sister.

My first experience with dry shampoo was Ojon from QVC. I loved it and it's fantasstic, but incredibly expensive. I was looking for a good product at a more affordable price. I have also tried the Batiste version. I find this slightly better than the Batiste, but not quite as good as the Ojon, but then at 1/3 of the price of the Ojon that's not surprising.

Overall an excellent product and I would buy it again. Perfect for those days that your hair just needs freshening rather than a full wash, or if (like me) you struggle with chronic pain and are having a bad spell, this is the perfect bridge till you are able to get back in the shower.

This dry shampoo was not for me as it has a very very strong smell. I like the smell of coconut but this was just too much, too sweet and not pleasant.

I would recommened dry shampoo if there is a reason why you cant use regular shampoo. With me I find after I have just had a colour, to preserve the colour a little longer dry shampoo washing is worth using. After about a week I felt I needed to wash my hair properly as my scalp was iching but after using this dry shampoo, my hair did feel washed and not greacey. This one has a stunning coconut smell to it. Perfect to carry in your bag on the go when traveling or in a busy lifestyle.
