We have been using these for 6 months, and to date alot have ripped. We go through one a day, so that will tell you how much we use...They do not have draw strings, they are horrid bags..

My first mistake was buying bags without that red drawstring which is what I usually purchase. Suspect that I was seduced by the 'tear resistant with less plastic.' come on.
Decided to tough it out to see how they would work out: second mistake.
I put up with the hassle of trying to get the bags open and mounted on the garbage bag for about a quarter of the way through one box and decided today after tearing through the skin of one bag even before I had put it in the can that enough is enough.
No more having to remount the bag everytime something larger than a crumpled wad of paper goes in to it. No carrying the garbage container down with me for fear that the contents of the bag will pop through on the way to the trash disposal. Just no more hassle, frankly.

Heading out to buy the regular, well-made, red drawstring Glad bags so that my garbage disposal life can get back to normal.

These are a waste of time, money and effort.

We've been using the Glad ForceFlex kitchen bags for years, and I think they're wonderful. I love the fact that I don't end up with broken trash bags when we carry out heavier loads. In the past we've used the drawstring bags, which I think are easier to deal with and carry out than the Quick Tie bags. However, the subscribe and save is only available for Quick Tie, so I've made the switch. Still love the trash bag, and if you prefer quick tie, you'll probably love this.

There are two major things about this product. One is the bag that I have found it to be a good bag in the kitchen that is durable and does not tear easily. I have put in quite a lot of used cat littler and the restriction is what I can lift and not what the bag can carry. This bag has the tie option which a prefer as I have found that tying the knot makes a better handle for me to carry it out to the trash. The other thing I love about this product is that it is a subscribe and save product. I always forget to buy trash bags and the fact that this come in large numbers and I am able to have them shipped without me forgetting is great.

I love these bags. I like the flaps because the are easy to use to seal the bag and once knotted, it makes for a great hand hold to carry the bags with. I find the ones with the pull straps awkward. After you pull it closed, then there is nothing to hold on to and I always end up tearing the bag when trying to lift it and/or get my hand in gross trash.

I like the force flex because it's tougher than the regular bags. Most of my trash isn't so heavy but for when it occasionally is, it's nice to not have the bag give way.

The all white flapped bags look great in a kitchen garbage can unlike the ones with the red pull strap - those always look so cheap and cheesy in a kitchen.

Since I only go through 1 bag a week, I'm going to have these for six years before I need to order more.

these are NOT drawstring garbage bags as pictured on the box. They are manually tied bags, not what I thought I was buying....

I bought these because I don't like drawstring bags and the store was out of the regular type quick-tie. I never overfill trash bags because they get to heavy to carry. I would hesitate to put anything overly damp into these bags. They leak every time. Also, avoid disposing any food scraps. I had taken the bag out of the kitchen trashcan the night before to ready it for trash pickup the next day and placed it on the floor next to the door. When I picked the bag up to place it outside hundreds of ants that had congregated under and into the bag went scurrying throughout my kitchen. So just dry trash would be OK I guess.

These are by far the best garbage bags on the market. They are more durable and flexible than any others, and the four tab tie-off system is better than the stupid drawstrings on other bags that constantly rip. I've had trouble finding these recently, so I buy them in bulk from Amazon. Do yourself a favor and get these.
