we like Alexa Chung. We really like her. We think she's good at what she does, which is essentially being a wo-man-about-town, wearing cool stuff and saying cool things and giving really good breakup advice. And she's funny on Twitter, which is always a plus. Her book,

Personally I don't think this is worth the money. Maybe £1 in a charity shop but the price is crazy for the content. It took me about an hour to read and I sent it back straight away because I felt like I'd been robbed. It's like reading someone's diary, or a scrapbook with words- and has basically no content of any value. It's nicely presented and maybe if you're a die-hard Chung fan it might be worth it, I like Alexa Chung but not to the point where I'd pay £15 for a book of random thought by her that looks like it took a week to write. This is the kind of thing I'd make if I was really bored. There is a funny page about hair and crying into your Granola, which I've posted here. So really there is no need to buy it now. If this wasn't written by one of the most famous models of all time it would most likely have terrible reviews.

The other reviews on here made me slightly wary about purchasing this book. They made 'It' seem sort of deluded. A book with no purpose.

However upon purchasing 'It', as I am an Alexa Chung fan and couldn't help myself, I think this is a book you need to look past the surface. This book is exactly how I imagine Alexa to be, down to earth and the kind of girl that feels she can tell you anything whilst still keeping some mystery to her private life.
This isn't like any other autobiography, we don't see a birth to current moment write-up (which I wouldn't expect of Alexa anyway). This is more the story of how her love of fashion began, and what brought her into the world of modelling/tv etc. Imagine a diary.
The aesthetic quality of the book is obviously important and would be to a fashionista like Miss Chung. However her musings on what people have inspired her look is a treat to read, as she is known for her well-put-together fashion choices and I did always wonder how she looks so effortlessly pretty.

I don't know what more you would expect from a model to write really? Writing wouldn't be what she is best known for, but she pulls it off very well with her charming personality laced throughout this book.

If you're a fan you'll definitely love this because it is simply Alexa.

Really lovely book to look at and has lots of different Images/draws etc. The book itself is more of her thoughts than anything however she does give tips and talks about her fashion taste. If you are a fan of alexa then you will probably really enjoy this as I do. It however doesn't take very long to read so isn't a long in deep book about her life more rambles of information she shares about her! it is a really nice book to have and I was happy that I bought it

It's a nice book, it has really interesting pictures and photos in it and writing but it's not really a reading kind of book as in it doesn't take you long at all to read. A fast reader could probably read it all in one go in 20 minutes! But it's nice just to have and flick through. It's not a big book, it's not a thick one but it is a really attractive book. And fans of Alexa Chung will obviously like this book :)

I have a strong interest in fashion and design. This book is very inspiring, quirky, and interesting. By reading this book you get an insight on Alexa's life and her fashion inspirations. I picked up Alexa's helpful tips about fashion and makeup. I love this book, however i would have liked it to be a bit longer.
I found this book in Urban Outfitters for £17 and i thought that was overpriced, however, i found it on amazon and i think it is worth buying for £11.55.

I bought this book on a whim, really. I saw a quote that I liked somewhere, and thought 'why not?'

I defy anybody to call this book an autobiography. It is a guide. An insight into the way in which Alexa Chung lives her life. It gives you advice. The book was never meant to tell you about her childhood or her ex boyfriends.

I give it 3 stars for each good thing about the book. It keeps you interested. It is easy to read. The book itself is beautiful and a great addition to give your bookshelf a touch of femininity. However, it isn't a long book. I kind of expected more for my money. Also, half of the book is dedicated to her 'style icons', despite telling us she isn't that into style (clearly a lie).

Found a signed copy from a seller here on Amazon in excellent condition. Arrived ahead of estimated delivery date, well packaged. Thank you rhino-claremont. Definitely did not need a signed copy, but for not much more than buying new at regular price, it was a nice touch and excellent find.

I was well aware before purchasing that this book would not be a heavy read. Alexa has stated in numerous interviews the text portion of this book was taken from e-mails and napkins, and she herself is not tech-saavy nor is she a writer. However, for any fan of Alexa this is a great little memento to flip through for visuals and quick musings to read.
