Get Massive Rock Tone with the Steve Harris Signature Bass!

The Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass is the ideal instrument for holding down the low end in a metal or hard rock band! Arguably the most influential metal bassist alive, Steve Harris's signature bass delivers the classic bass tone you need. This P Bass is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-1 signature pickup, a Fender High Mass bridge, and Steve's signature on the back of the headstock. If you're looking for massive bottom end with a powerful punch, then you need the Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass.

The bass of a metal legend

For over 30 years, Steve Harris has delivered thundering bass for one of the biggest metal bands in the world. Iron Maiden's bass lines are iconic and drive their music with the fury and fire that only metal can contain. The Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass's maple body and maple neck deliver great playability and solid tonal transfer. The Fender High Mass bridge offers serious sustain and spot on intonation. Add to this a signature set of pickups and you have a beast of a bass with the Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass.

This P Bass is packed with big tone

Fender loaded the Steve Harris Precision Bass with a Seymour Duncan Basslines pickup, a favorite among Sweetwater bass players. But not just any Seymour Duncan pickup, the Steve Harris signature pickup. You'll love the response and dynamics you get with the custom pickup. Its tight lows, solid highs, and aggressive mids offer a bass sound that cuts through with the power and punch needed to drive the band. Pick up the Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass today and see what your sound has been missing.

All the features of a true classic

Leo Fender brought us the Precision Bass back in the 1950s, and its classic body shape and comfortable neck continue to give today's P Bass supreme playability and a distinctive look. Players from all genres have embraced the P Bass, and it continues to be a favorite in the studio and on stages everywhere. As with so many of Fender's original designs, the man got the essence of a great instrument right the first time, and over a half-century later the Precision Bass stands as a sterling example of an American classic.

Best Bass Ever

I have played and owned a ton of Bass Guitars. I have one of these and no matter what when I am looking for the best sound quality and tone I go to this Bass. It is really heavy, hard to set up with the truss rod being hidden, but once you get it dialed in...mwah!!! Perfection. I think that the heaviness of the body and maple fretboard tone may have something to do with it. Those pickups are so great as well. Highly recommend.

To say this Bass is awesome, is still an understatement.

If only I could play like Steve Harris, Wow.
Music background: Drums, Bass, PIano (classical, and jazz),

Outstanding Bass

I have played bass guitar and Used Guitars from five different manufacturers. When it comes down to the point, Fender produces the best product bar none. I love the Steve Harris Bass, has a great sound, great look and great play ability. Someone told me that it was a really heavy Bass but it didn't bother me at all. My style is classic rock and this bass pits in perfect. Can't say more about it love it
Music background: Been playing for 40 years

My Dream Bass

What can I say? This has it all from my favorite bassist, Steve Harris!! The Maple Neck and Maple Body, its heavy as heck but the sound is nothing like my other P Bass or any other P bass I have played. Clarity, massive sustain that goes on for day and when digging in you can get this to growl, its where its at. I quickly swapped out the fender strings for the included Rotosound Flatwound SH77 (I use in all my bass guitars) The heavy gauge strings fit perfectly on the nut, no adjustments needed. Fender High Mass Bridge is a big plus, I use it on my other bass guitars, excellent for sustain. The seymour duncan SPB 4 PU really put out the kick on this bass. This bass is Made In Mexico, I cant believe it!! It sounds on par with a made in the USA, no kidding. excellent QC, attention to detail and the finish is just mind blowing. I wish all Made in Mexico bass guitars are as good as this one on a consistent basis. I run this through my Tech 21 SH-1 and it sounds like, well, the tone of Steve Harris. I cant nor ever play as good as him but I can sure get in the ballpark with the lower action, clanking and the gallop.
If you are a fan of Steve Harris or you want a solid Maple Body and neck, this is for you. Based on a 1970's Fender P bass with the upgraded hardware, this really kicks it up a notch!! Thank you Sweetwater and thank you Jack Wellington. Customer service is #1

Music background: My pop played acoustic and my grandfather rocked banjo
