For the best look to your new decorative pillow shams and to make sure they have nice full edges, please follow our advice. We recommend choosing a pillow insert that is 1 - 2 inches larger than your pillow shams so it fills the space and there are no flimsy, sad corners. Smaller shams that are 10 to 17 inches in size typically need inserts that are an inch larger. Bigger shams that are 18 inches and over typically require pillow inserts that are 2 inches larger than the sham. For rectangular pillow shams, we recommend pillow inserts that are 2" inches long or 1" inches larger on the length and width for the best look.

The inserts fill the pillow shams like I wanted. Unfortunately, each king size pillow was put into a small box. The pillow was folded in half and stuffed into the box. The folded crease shows under the sham and one is more full than the other which also shows.
