I have a very bad back and have extreme neck issues, to put it mildly. And I have been searching for years for a pillow that doesn't flatten out (keeps its form), is soft, but firm at the same time, and is hypoallergenic. Over the years, I have found a few pillows that seem like they're going to be great, but when I actually put them in pillowcases and use them, they already start losing their shape. I then have to fluff them up, stretch them straight, and hope it works. I purchased, recently, a set of pillows that promised to help back issues. And they're not really bad pillows. They just aren't exactly what I wanted. They are too firm and lose their softness. I thought I would just never find "my" pillow.
I was wrong!
I ordered these two pillows after reading their descriptions. "Hypoallergenic, down alternative". "Polyester gel fiber fill with great loft recovery and no shift construction". Those were the keys to me purchasing these pillows and gave me a little hope that maybe, just maybe, it would be worth the effort to try once again. And it was. I took them out of their box and out of their protective plastic coverings and started testing them. I pushed as hard as I could with my elbow, pushed my head down hard on them, then my body...and they bounced back every single time. I bought some of my favorite pillow cases for them - very, very soft, and the best made sheets/pillowcases I've ever felt (Clark Clark 1800 Thread Count), and put the pillows in their cases. One of them I used for my head, neck, and back for when I fell asleep. The other I curled up with on my side, while watching tv or listening to music. I did not have to fluff. I did not have to stretch. They went back to their original shape and kept their softness, while being just firm enough to support my head and neck mostly.
So - at the moment, I love these pillows and for once, a product lives up to the hype. I will probably buy more of them to replace my older, non-effective pillows. I wholeheartedly approve this product. For me, anyway.

Not what I expected, Got what I paid for, I guess.
I thought maybe I was getting a deal on these pillows, but I'd say I got what I paid for- maybe a bit less. Lol These pillows aren't any different than the $10 ones at Walmart. I knew when the box was as light as a feather, that they weren't what I thought they'd be. When you open the package, the do inflate with air, and "appear" thick and fluffy. (See my first pic) Once you apply pressure to the pillow, it collapses flat, with no support. The filling goes less than an inch thin. (See my 2nd pic) I can squeeze it, from both sides, and feel my fingers on the other side, through the filling. I DEFINITELY, more than anything do not see how they can be called "FIRM". They may not be the cheapest quality, ($5-$7 pillows), but definitely not worth more than the $10-$12 ones.. Hey, I got what I paid for, so I won't give them a negative, I guess. :) It was just my mistake for thinking I got these at a bargain, as I thought they were ones that were worth more, but were being sold at a discount/deal.. I guessed wrong! Haha My son asked if he could keep his old pillow. lol! What confuses me most, is that they were rated so high?? Maybe people are happy with how they look stuffed in their shams? Lol.. But for actual sleep, I wouldn't be so sure.. I'd return them, if it wasn't such a hassle. But as always, my review is in now way negative towards Amazon! They have always been A++ in my book! :)
