Meet Nate

Nate purchased his first beehive in 1996. He had just gotten back from his honeymoon with his wife Patty when he began making his own honey, and a year later, Nate began bottling honey in his garage. In 2010, Nate committed to honey full-time.

Nature Nate's has grown from the original team of seven people to employ more than 100 team members and is quickly growing. Not only has Nate built a business from his garage up, but he has also given back to the community along the way. We grow to give!

Our honey has nothing added or taken away. Just as nature intended

'I am only willing to put products on your family's table that I'd be proud to put on my own family's table.' - Nate

From humble beginnings, Nature Nate’s has grown over the last couple decades into more than just a honey company. We’re made up of moms & dads, sons & daughters, whom all care about providing quality food for our families. We understand the difficulty of preparing wholesome meals while trying to maintain the right work/life balance. That’s why we have carefully crafted and perfected our process to bring you honey that you can trust is real and of the highest quality (and tastes good, too!)

Raw & Unfiltered: What We Do (& What We Don't)

honey bees beekeepers blend pollen raw unfiltered nature natural beehive sweet sugar substitute

Blend: It makes our honey extraordinary.

We comb the U.S. and Canada and partner with beekeepers to get the best honeys for our blends, which include clover, canola, wildflower and tallow honey. In return, a raw blended honey like ours has a more complex and nuanced flavor. Deep. Balanced. Sweet. You can tell the difference.

raw unfiltered honey unpasteurized enzymes vitamins intact overheated

Raw: Honey is amazing. Why mess with it?

We don’t cook our honey at high temperatures. High heat just ruins all the good stuff that makes honey so amazing. Instead, we gently warm the raw honey so we can handle it, you know, so it can be poured, lightly strained and bottled.

strain raw unfiltered honey pollen enzymes vitamins bees wax honey hive comb filtered

Unfiltered: We keep the good stuff in.

The honey we get is straight from the hive. So naturally, there will be some bee parts and chunks of pollen and wax floating around. So we strain it. Straining, not filtering, lets all the good stuff through, but keeps the bigger stuff out.

raw unfiltered honey no high fructose corn syrup rice syrup antibiotics pesticides herbicides test

Test: Only the best get a bright orange label.

Bees make honey. And it’s that unadulterated honey we want. No antibiotics. No pesticides. No herbicides. And no added corn or rice syrups. And so we test* the honey that comes through our loading dock day after day. Our only ingredient is just as nature intended: honey.

Classic Nature Nate's Pure Raw & Unfiltered Honey

Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey is Made by North American Bees and comes straight from the hive – just as nature intended. It is not heated at high temperatures, and the pollens have not been filtered out. Each batch is tested for a high pollen count and a clean read of corn syrup adulteration, pesticides, herbicides and antibiotics before going into your bottle. Choose the size that fits your family best.

If you’re asking yourself, 'Does honey expire?' or 'Why has my honey turned solid?' We’ve got the answers. Real Honey Crystallizes!

At Nature Nate’s Honey Co. our honey is pure. Nothing added. Because Nature Nate’s honey is raw & unfiltered, this golden goodness is subject to change in natural ways, one of these changes is the crystallization process. There are a few different reasons for crystallization, like high pollen count, cooler temperatures, and natural sugars found in honey like fructose & glucose.

In order to return your favorite sweetener to its liquid state, simply give your Nature Nate’s bottle a bath. Don’t microwave it or put it in boiling water! You want to gently warm the honey without overheating, as high heat ruins enzymes found in honey. So take a large bowl, fill it with warm water and let your bottle rest until the crystals begin to melt away.

Whichever form you like best, it’s still deliciously golden honey. Even if the crystallization process begins in your Nature Nate’s bottle, know that this is a normal, natural process and your honey is still good to enjoy.

I love this honey - I never had raw honey before so I wasn’t sure if it would taste any different. This is the best honey I ever had. I will continue to purchase this brand not only because it’s good, but because it. Is also reasonably priced.

Thank you for a delicious raw honey that tastes divine and is affordable.
The honey is sweet with a hint of molasses. Not cloying sweet like the honey bear we get at the store. The closure- where the honey comes out- is top notch, never dripping anywhere on the bottle.
Bees grown in the USA- I love that- and your message.

It's very delicious, and American-made. Let me tell you this, after 5 months in the pantry it has hardened, just be warned. Just put it in a pot of hot water to loosen it. You should never put in a microwave to loosen. This kills all the beneficial properties in the honey.

I live in manhattan and the price of this same product in stores is about 40% more. This is a really great honey and has been my go too since ordering a few months back. I've tried so many honeys and this one is as good as any and the price is perfect. I use mainly for tea and it is amazing.

This product damaged my entire prime pantry box. The product was already damaged, bottom had cracked and honey was all over all of the other items.

This honey has a good flavor. The bottom either has or will very quickly turn to sugar. I contacted the company about this issue. The lady said they were checking into this issue and would send a new bottle. Been waiting for getting close to a year. Guess it's not coming! I have seen this product at Costco and the pellet was picked through trying to find one that did not have sugar at the bottom. I am giving a two star for taste. Otherwise....one star!!
