Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Hope washing will help.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2014I typically wear a 9/10, so I bought a large and they fit perfectly and the length is just right! I liked them so much I decided to buy another pair. Well, if you think you're going to get the same fit, forget it because you won't. The second pair came and one leg was longer than the other and not by just a little. It was 3 inches longer! So....sent those back and though I'd give it one more chance and am now sending THAT pair pack as well because they look like I'm ready for the flood.....they were VERY short in length.....like petite length and they also sat lower on the hips! Talk about frustrated.....GOOD LORD! I can't see giving more than 2 stars for something they can't even duplicate.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2012I've been wanting these for a while and finally decided to get a pair to wear during the milder winter days. They're definitely more comfy than jeans; I feel comfortable wearing them just as much while grocery shopping as I do lounging on the couch. The material is thin, but still has a somewhat sweatpant feeling to them. From a distance, they look enough like jeans that you could probably wear them to run simple errands or hang out and no one would be the wiser, but if they're standing close enough to you, they can tell they're not real jeans. My boyfriend was standing about two feet from me when he asked if I went out and bought Pajama Jeans. You can clearly see it's not denim fabric; rather, just dark sweatpants with contrast stitching. A few runs through the washer (and I wash them inside out in cold water every time), and the sweatpants effect is way more obvious. Again, it's fine enough if you're running simple weekend errands, but these in no way will pass as actual jeans. The cut is pretty short, hence the rating. I'm 5'10" and these will work when stuffing them into boots, but not to wear with regular shoes. They don't even reach my ankles. Right now that's fine because it's still winter and I can get away with the boots, but these will probably be relegated to strictly indoor use once the weather warms up. However, since they're not as comfortable as actual sweatpants or even yoga pants, they'll probably sit in my dresser until next winter.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2012I've had these for about 6 months now, and they are super comfortable. I would recommend ordering a size up. I normally wear an extra small/size 2 but in these the small fits best. The drawstring is annoying but it only took a few minutes to replace it with elastic, which makes them much more comfortable and easier to put on. They look like a pair of cheap jeans - I wouldn't wear them on a date or out with friends, but they are great for running errands and I have been able to get away with them on casual Friday with a nice shirt, as long as it's long enough to cover up the lack of a button. People are always really surprised when I tell them I'm wearing pajama jeans. I would definitely buy them again, because they are so much more comfortable than real jeans. They do fade a lot, I've found that cleaning them with dryel or similar products helps make the color last longer.
Edited 12/12/12 to add: I see a lot of people complaining about the restocking fee in their reviews... if you order based on what the size chart tells you to order and it doesn't fit (although I recommend a size up), that is an issue with the merchandise being "significantly not as described" (since it was described as fitting someone with your measurements) and you shouldn't have to pay a restocking or return shipping fee since it is the retailer's fault. If they do your credit card might let you do a chargeback in that case. I usually call when I have an issue like this, and when I explain that I ordered based on the size chart but the size chart was misleading no one has ever attempted to charge me a restocking or return shipping fee.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2016This was my first pair of pajama jeans. Notice I said first pair. I ordered a second pair and a pair for my husband. I had doubts about the mens, but he loved them and ordered a second pair after wearing the first pair all day. We both have a dark indigo pair and a washed look or "vintage" pair. They look just like jeans but feel like sweat pants, soft and comfy. We both wore the indigo pair out for a casual work day. I don't find jeans paticularly comfortable so this is an awesome find for me.
The mens indigo pair fit like jeans. They are NOT tight which is what I was afraid of, it does NOT look like he is wearing leggings or tights! They fit like jeans. He is thrilled. He is 5"10 and weighs 205, the Large fit fine. I am 5'4" and weigh 145-150, the womens medium is perfect.
We opened them on a day that there was a blizzard. We were so tickled with ourselves lounging around in our pajama jeans.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2015I'm a skinny person, even at 61 years of age. I have nothing for hips and butt, and these fit terrible! -- The skinnys (size small) were baggy even after trying to shrink them several times. They are far less comfortable than my regular skinny jeans, and that drawstring is even more of a hassle and discomfort than the belts that I have to wear. As far as wearing them for pajamas, or "living in" them, no way! I regret my purchase. If you're a "stick chick," don't even consider these. (I ordered from the PajamaJeans site but I can't seem to find anyplace to leave a review, thus here.)
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2013yes these were a Perfect fit and I LOVE how comfortable they are BUT.... I dislike how many times I have washed them over and over but no matter how many times, they are washed I cannot get the Blue to stop rubbing off on any light fabric, (especially tan leather seats like 'my car') that I sit on. Ruined.
