    First time when I washed my hair with this shampoo&same conditioner my hair was terrible it felt really dry and frizzy. I was very disappointed . After the second wash my hair felt greasy, but after third wash my hair started to become normal looking again and kept on using the shampoo&conditioner and had no more problems! I have read that other people had similar problems, I guess with natural shampoos your hair and scalp has to get used to them.
    I wouldn't say it's perfect shampoo, but it does the job, it's natural and it smells good!

    I used this item after many years of using Aveda shampoos. After the first wash it left my hair greasy with a really dirty smell. After reading all the good reviews here I was very disappointed. After further research I realised that the scalp needs to adjust. So after 5 weeks of plaits and buns I can finally admit this shampoo is amazing! I only need to wash my hair twice a week rather than everyday. Being very lazy and low maintenance I drag a brush through my hair each morning, scrunch the roots with my fingers ( no styling product needed) and it's good to go for the day. My hair is super shiney and has the volume I normally only get after a blow dry at a good hairdresser. I bought the conditioner at the same time but only used it once due to the initial greasiness. I plan to use it just once a week now as my hair doesn't seem to need it. If you can handle the waiting period this product is definitely worth it.

    I am so far, half-way through the bottle, and very impressed. I have decided to swap most if not all of my toiletries for natural, or as natural as I can products and Burt's Bees obviously came up as one to try. I think the shampoo smells gorgeous and very fruity. It lingers nicely after washing. There is not much lather at first, and it is quite runny, but you don't need too much anyway. For the first four washes, my hair was exceptionally oily, but I had read from previous reviews and research that because your hair needs time to get used to having no chemicals on it, the scalp produces more oil at first to over compensate. On the fifth wash, it was squeaky clean, very voluminous, and really shiny. Absolutely beautiful. My hair has never looked this healthy. I'm so pleased and will continue to use this. The conditioner goes well with this shampoo and also smells great. The reason I haven't given five stars yet is due to the fact that I still have half the product left. I'll see how it does after I've used it all up.

    I am not one for over dramatizing things, but this genuinely is the worst shampoo I have ever used. The problem starts as soon as I put it on my hair, it doesn't lather at all. I have had shampoos before that do this (though it is rare), but the difference between this shampoo and those ones is that when I rinsed my hair and re-shampooed straight away they lathered perfectly. This one doesn't. At all. I have to use 4 x the amount of shampoo I would normally use just to get it to cover my hair.

    The next problem is the results... I washed my hair last night and this morning my hair was an oil slick. Bearing in mind my hair type is normal to slightly dry. I had to put so much dry shampoo in my hair just to make it look semi-decent as I didn't have time to wash it again before work. However, it looks like I haven't washed my hair in days. I will be washing my hair again tonight with one of my travel sized shampoos just to get this horrible muck out of my hair.

    I used this shampoo twice and will never again. The first time I thought I must have done something wrong. But no, it really is that bad. I am so appalled with it, I can't quite believe it made it to market. I change shampoo quite often, so I have used many shampoos in the past and this one really is in a league of its own. I'm really disappointed with Burt's Bees, but I do find their products a bit hit and miss.

    I started using Burt's Bees a couple of months ago in a pursuit for more natural treatments for my hair and skin. I've always had very thin hair prone to split ends, but since I started to use this shampoo teamed with the conditioner, and I can honestly say I've never known my hair to be so soft and thick.

    As others have mentioned, the first few days of using it worried me as it seemed to be leaving my hair extremely oily, but after about a week I think your hair gets used to the change, and you could see the difference (and so could other people, who mentioned how healthy my hair suddenly looked!). After a couple of months I ran out, and went back to my old shampoo, and it was a huge shock –– immediately I was getting split ends again, and the tip of my hair which is bleached looked like straw. It felt as if all the goodness in my hair was being stripped out! So of course I stocked right up on Burt's Bees again and my hair is looking lovey again.

    I would really recommend this to people like me who have very limp, dry and thin hair. But of course I think it would be a beneficial, natural choice for any hair type really. You've got to persevere for the first few washes but it is certainly worth it.

I love the smell and my salon colored hair hasn't faded at all, It's worth it to pay a little extra for good quality. I Have very long hair reaching my mid back and I don't have to use to much shampoo, make a thing about the size of a quarter and it gets all of my hair.
