Not so surprised that this handle will break off after 2 years of use. When the handle is broken off, the board does not stay flat when unfold. Had to trash it.

    This is my second one Over time and constant use the handle tends to start coming off. Ironically, after I removed the handle on its predecessor it was just as easy to use. This is a great size, won't dull your blades, and is super convenient. I have a much larger, expensive Japanese block which I never use since getting addicted to this product.

    I love this cutting board. It's so convenient being able to scoop up your cut veggies and carry them over to the stove... My only complaint is that the handle has to be folding upward in order for the board to stay flat while cutting. It's just a little awkward. Perhaps, if I got the larger size, the handle wouldn't be in my way at all... or maybe it just takes some getting used to. Overall, I really like it and this small annoyance is worth the benefit.
