Jaroslav Fišer studied at the Technical University in Prague, Czechoslovakia and at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Prague. He designed 104 movie posters during 1959 – 1987. Poster for Věra Chytilová’s movie The Apple Game was awarded a Silver Hugo at the International Film Festival in Chicago, USA.

Movie poster is in A3 size. Previously folded with some crease in bottom part and across edges. Slight fold in top right corner. There some small spots across and two stains at the back, one is visible on left middle edge. Nice condition.

Posters in our collection were used as promotional materials. All were displayed in the cinemas across the former Czechoslovakia. They bear signs of their age.
