Really nice...

Really nice acid toning pads, one of the best I have used for this price range (my favourite are the Dr. Dennis Gross extra strength pads but are more than three times the price!). These really do give your skin a nice glow but can sting on sensitive skin or if you have done any recent extractions. They however do not help with my spots.

JUST WOW!

Honestly, after the first use I could see a difference in my skin and the next morning and my boyfriend commented on how nice my face looked (which is rare) I have oily skin, and not just on my T Zone, I mean oil everywhere! I have used acid toners before and my skin felt exfoliated but not to the extent that it does with these so I was dubious that they would even work. With continued use, my skin feels a lot less oily. My pores will always be there but they do appear smaller and less noticeable, you also get this amazing glow after using them which I have found lasts for a couple of days. I probably wouldn't use these if you have really dry or sensitive skin as you do experience some peeling (I did on my temples weirdly) but they are a game changer and using them 3 times a week has changed my life.

Not my favourite

Got through a whole jar of these but don’t love them. They feel almost like a dry oil formula, the pad is too rough textured for me. They do leave some redness but are not drying.

Game changer pads

I've always been someone who has cleansed/toned & moisturised my skin since I was about 9 (my mother has the most amazing skin and told me to look after my skin at a young age) Since leaving school I ventured into makeup & cleanse my face religiously day & night. If you love to wear makeup like me, you have to look after your skin. I did some research on Glycolic Acid, as I have combination skin (sensitive, dry at times & let's not forget oiliness these damn pores will not win) I was worried that it would make my skin really flaky or I would turn out looking like a beetroot. I took the plunge and decided to try these pads. First application: Removed makeup. A slight tingling sensation at first, nothing major or uncomfortable, I waited for 3 minutes and then rinsed with cold water like it recommends on the tub finished with a light moisturiser. I could tell the difference by morning as my pores appeared smaller as well as the blackheads on my nose. My skin feels soft and there is a natural dewy glow for up to three days after and then I had some peeling on my nose area for a day or so which then disappeared and left a less oily nose when I wore makeup! LOVE LOVE LOVE. Definitely glad I bought them!

Mild, but effective

These pads aren't as wet as many others, but they have enough treatment. My skin is acne-prone, and pads good smoothe, minimize pores, reduce breakouts and improve complexion, and they don't dry or irritate my skin. I really like this product.

The Best!

I've used the Dr. Dennis Gross pads before but searched for a dupe since they are pricey and Pixie Glow Pads are really it! They leave my skin soft and clear.

Does not feel like 20%

I have been fighting acne scarring with various acid products for quite awhile now. I got these pads for their 20% concentration of the glycolic acid, having used 10% lactic and 5% glycolic before. My plan was to carefully introduce larger percentage to my skin. And to my disappointment nothing happened with these pads. I use them religiously once or sometimes twice a week and my acne discoloration does not seem to fade. To bring you a quick background - my acne scarring is quite moderate, concentrated mostly on my cheeks and the jaw line area. Most estheticians I have seen keep telling me with acid peels it should go away. Looks like this product is not for me. On a side note, the format Pixi decided to use for this product is very controversial. Pads do tend to dry out easily and their uneven texture does not make any sense at all.

Pads were extremely dry

Not sure if I received a dud jar, but the pads themselves were extremely dry. It felt like I was rubbing a dry cotton pad on my face. For 20% acid, it sure didn't feel terribly active. Won't be buying these again in a hurry, unless there is some guarantee that there is more of the actual active solution in the container.

I feel confident make up free

Wow, wow, wow. My goodness are these amazing. I could not live without this amazing pads. My skin looks the best it has been in years and I even felt confident enough to go make up free. I use this twice a week on my 'skin treat' night. Twice a week I use wash, exfoliate (chemical not physical), mask, tone, spot gel, moisturiser (in that order) . But recently I have replaced my 'deep cleansing' 15 minute mask with this 2-3 mask and my skin looks incredible. Glowing, clears, smooth, just all round amazing. I was going to go to the doctors because my skin was so awful, but since using these pads my doctors appointment has been cancelled. When you apply the pad it is normal for you skin to sting and tingle that is just it working. I would 100% recommend these and you may think 'But pads always run out really quickly, it is a waste of money.' Excuse me, honey? There are 60 pads, you use one for each treatment and you use two a week. That is thirty weeks. Get these now. Amazing.

GAME CHANGER

I am a bit of a skincare junkie and have previously been an avid user of the 'Glow Tonic'. Noticing that the Glow Tonic was running low, I'd read a lot about the Glow Peel Pads and thought I'd give it a try. Cannot believe I waited so long to try these. Complete game changer! My skin within 5 minutes of using the first pad was completely different. I'm now 3 days in and couldn't be happier. My pores are smaller, my skin is glowing, my redness is less. An amazing addition to my every growing skincare collection
