It's hard to estimate the value of this podcast
06/01/2006
This podcast stands out as pretty much constantly astounding. As someone who writes about science for a living, the 'scientific' concepts here are rendered in an enviably fascinating and pretty much idiot-proof way. It's a testament to the skills of the hosts in their use of the audio format that they can cruise through really complex stuff and give the ordinary listener entertainment and learning in a single scoop. This is the best. Now if they would only get season one on itunes....
Always Amazing

For more than 10 years I have relished every episode of RL, I am a better person having done so, THANK YOU RadioLab!
Once phenomenal, now a sad effort.

To me, this was once the best podcast available. Jad and Robert were stunningly good. Since they handed it over, it’s rarely worth listening to, other than the repeats of J&R (which are many since the new hosts are extremely slow to produce any content at all). It’s now laughable, just plain weak and often strays well into identity politics, virtue signaling, lesbian flag waving, childish giggling, women who use overly affected-overdramatic delivery, etc. Lulu is a poor substitute for a host and needs to get over herself. A once great show is now ruined.
Cannot support

Have tried, and do pine for the days of Jad, but cannot support anything with Lulu Miller’s name attached to it. Why fish don’t exist is the most poorly written, narcissistic and egotistical work of fiction I have ever suffered through. She is constantly pushing a viewpoint rather than making an attempt to have a relationship with the truth.

Hope after tragedy

Excellent! Gives me hope that there is light after tragedy. Finding purpose in life after that dark day, is something that I can relate to.

A shadow of its former self….

Is so deeply annoying. His bratty, contrarian naivety is hard to listen to. He seems to think his sparring is fun? God I pity his friends and family.
Nauseating Political Bias

I came for engaging content. I left because, true to the trend, the Left tends to destroy everything they touch. This podcast is no exception.
