First off let me say that I have not experimented much with liquid rock deodorants. This was my first foray into a more natural alternative. I could not believe how well it worked from day one. Truly, this stuff is amazing. I doubt I will try any other type of natural deodorant or any other brand after the success I've found with this one.
It is a tiny bit runny, as it is a liquid, but that is a very small price to pay for how well it works. In fact, more than once I have forgotten to use it on the 2nd day when I've gotten up early and headed out to care for all of our critters. Upon realizing that I hadn't "protected myself" I gave the ol' pits a sniff and guess what. No odor whatsoever. I have really slouched off and gone two days with only one application and no one would know. Even had the hubby check to be sure I wasn't deluding myself! Not that I'm advocating a showerless day for most people, but when you live in an extremely dry climate showering every other day is much better for one's skin. Turns out you only need to use this product once every two days to smell like you just stepped out of the shower.
Bottom line is that I could not be more pleased. No, I do not work for the company or own stock in it. I'm just a thrilled customer now using a more natural product without the nasty chemicals that most well advertised deodorant/anti-perspirants contain.
I don't usually find myself so thrilled with a product but this one is at the top of my success list. Thank you, Kiss My Face!
PS - I did buy the patchouli fragrance but it is barely recognizable. To me the scent is quite neutral. I recommend the subscribe and save option to save a few more pennies - but don't have it delivered too often. I purchased this last December and five months later am only on my second bottle with a few uses of other deodorants off and on along the way.

Unfortunately, this product (all scents of it) stain the underarms of my shirts. It's really too bad because it's the only organic-type product that works for me. Big brand deodorants give me rashes, perhaps because of the aluminum. Basically, if I put on a light-colored shirt when wearing this and don't wash the shirt right away after wearing it, there is a bleaching effect to the underarms of the shirt. I emailed Kiss My Face about this and the response was very unhelpful. The representative said that they've never heard of this happening, which I seriously doubt. In fact, I dare say that she's lying because it is definitely happening to me (over the course of several years, different soaps and laundry detergents), so it has to be happening to others. Her suggestion was that I let the deodorant dry before putting on my shirt. That takes about 5-10 minutes. I don't have 5-10 minutes to wait every time I put on my shirt, and if their product is ruining people's clothes, I think it's a pretty ridiculous idea. Anyways, it's something to keep in mind if you're thinking about buying this. Just to differentiate the effect I'm talking about from the usual "yellowing" that many deodorants have on white shirts, this is a definite bleaching effect. I had a light purple dress shirt get yellow/white armpits permanently, and a light blue T-shirt get the same. I've lost 2-3 others, as well. It's likely not just sweat, as the collars of my shirts don't have this problem.
