Fantastic pillow.EvelynThis is a fantastic pillow. It's way better than those polyester pillows. It's made of feathers. When it arrives, it's rolled super tight. Just unroll it and fluff it around. These are great pillows. The price is also very reasonable for such a nice pillow.
Reduced Price and Reduced Value!!! ☹️NancyWhen these 20” x 20” down inserts were $10, they were stuffed FULL and were GREAT accent pillows. I made pillow covers for them all the time and loved how they looked.
Now that these pillows are $7, they are flat and droopy and don’t fill out the covers anymore. Clearly, they have altered the product without being upfront about it. It’s not a cost-savings on their previous pillow, it’s just a poorly-made pillow marketed as it used to be for a cheaper price. Really disappointing, IKEA. What they should have done was made a 18” x 18” pillow with the same materials and sold THAT for $7.
a real winnerDenniBest value in inner cushions, you don't have to use with IKEA covers, it works yes, but you can use for any covers that are similar size, my suggestion for a fuller pillow is to size down the cover by 1 size. Example 20 inch pillows use an 18 inch cover, you'll thank me later. One of many IKEA winners.

Chic but decorative.AriI love the heft of these pillows and their design definitely seems like they are intended to last you a long time.
They fit easily into the covers from IKEA and they are comfortable enough for the back.
I would not recommend these in any capacity as head pillows, doesnt seem designed for omnipurpose. But otherwise, they work as expected.

Time Will TellHeatherMy husband bought these and upon opening them they had a hefty weight to them and were decently fluffy. But I did notice a smell from the feathers…so did my little dogs, one of them laid right on the pillows and the other one wouldn’t, so it’s not just me. Right now I’m in the process of washing and drying these and noticed the smell is stronger each time I check to see if they’re dry…which is taking forever btw. Im worried about this ruining my washer and dryer based on how another reviewer said the smell didn’t go away in theirs.
The only reasons we bought these are the price point and also bc IKEA is supposedly RDS certified. I’ve bought other RDS certified home textiles from other companies and never encountered odor like this. IKEA, please rethink how these feathers are processed bc I can see it’s been a problem for years based on reviews. The packaging says feathers r sterilized but I doubt that when the smell sticks on my hands when I transfer them from the washer to the dryer
