Product Description

Index Advance with knives is an enhanced version of the multi-award-winning chopping board categorization system. Designed to reduce the likelihood of cross contamination of different food types, the set contains four color-coded, non-slip chopping boards plus four high-quality coordinating knives. Each chopping board has an index-style illustrated tab, indicating which food type it should be used for. Each knife is color-coded to match its corresponding board and designed to suit its specific task, whether it is preparing fish, meat, vegetables or cooked food. All knives have ergonomic handles and stainless-steel blades. The boards and knives fit neatly into a stylish storage case that has an embossed texture across its surface.     These knives are very nice; light, sharp, and very "usable". The boards are a nice size for small items. I use this mostly for a table center when snacking, set a board in the center of the table with some cheese, pickles, hard salami and a knife. The stoarge rack makes a great place to keep the "spares" until I need them.

    Bought it again and gifted it, and they love it as well.

    it came out broken , and its because this over priced thing is all plastic, im so bummed out about this ...i got this as a gift and im super embarrassed ....its way smaller than expected, and i hate the plastic holder the cutting boards and knifes sit in , it came out of the box broken .. so annoying. was expecting something along the stainless steel line. if im paying 80$ for cutting boards i would expect 80$ worth. this is way over priced for what you get. too much plastic. this is worth about 40 or 50$ at most. kinda bummed out on the size of the cutting board . its like 12inch by 10inch . very small.

    Ich habe den Messerblock mit Schneidebrettern erst seit 4 Tagen im Einsatz. Bis jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden, ich bin aber sowieso ein Fan von den Joseph Joseph - Produkten. Die Messer sind scharf und das Brett, welches ich benutzt habe, hat den Einsatz kratzerfrei überstanden.
    Was mich ein wenig erschrocken hat, war die Verpackung beim Versand: Der Karton war doppelt so groß wie das eingepackte Objekt, es war kein Füllmaterial drumherum, bzw. es war eine Vakuumtüte beigelegt, die aber nicht aufgeblasen war. Also rappelte in der Umverpackung hin und her und der Originalkarton hatte auch ein paar kleine verknickte Ecken. An den Brettern und Messern ist aber nichts kaputt gegangen, die wacklige Verpackung fand ich allerdings bedenklich.
    Die Ware ist aber super pünktlich eingetroffen, insgesamt also okay.

    Bought this for my son as a starter for his kitchen. The boards have a couple of nice features. Firstly the boards have rubber like corner grips so when placed upon a kitchen worktop they don't move. The knives are matched and colour coded to the boards themselves. The blades are stainless steel and razor sharp out of the box. The box itself is plastic but it doesn't detract from the overall quality. The boards are a reasonable size as well.

    My only concern is the variation of price. On Amazon I have seen this set vary from £70 to £150 for the exact same item. So although the set is 5 stars and recommended just make sure you look around for the best price.
