The contemporary double wall flute keeps the champagne colder and is so beautiful. This glass got a bad rap in a lot of ratings because it is top heavy and tends to fall over BUT I made a pretty clay holder and it solved the problem. It will still stand up without the holder but you just have to make sure it is on a stable surface before you let go of it.
It is however packed terribly by Amazon and the first set I received one was broken. It was no wonder as the flute box was just put in to a larger box with no padding and virtually the same size, not much can survive that. I luckily received a second shipment just in time for Christmas, even though i had complained about the packing it came packed the same way but this time wasn't broken!
