Not leak-proof

Not leak-proof
It’s very convenient, but it leaks. The lid is good and it’s a sturdy base, but the slider to close it (like a travel coffee mug) free flows. Not really a good product for anything except sitting the yard. The lid will keep out bugs. But if you’re looking for one to use in a boat or for a festival/concert like I was, this is not the right one.

We bought these to drink wine on the boat. With the lid, there is no spilling the wine when you hit a bump. Also insulated keeps it cold longer in the heat, and of course, non breakable is nice because you don't want broken glass to end up on the floor of the boat. We thought that the actual glass was kind of small, but considering a serving of wine is 5oz and this is 10oz.... we may just drink too much wine. We also discovered it's usefulness around the house with dogs wagging their tails and knocking things over. Lots let red wine to clean out of the carpet wen the glass has a lid!

I ordered a 2 pack of these and gave one to a friend and kept one for myself. We love them! They were perfect for our wine and painting party (I was afraid I would make a mess spilling my regular wine glass). These were such a hit that everyone at the party wanted to get one for themselves. They will be great at the pool this summer too! I doubt I will be drinking EVERY glass of wine out of this cup but I love having it for when I need it.

Some people are complaining about the quality but really?? It's a sippy cup people, not fine china! They are great for what they are...a plastic cup.

If anything ever happens to mine, I am positive I will be ordering a replacement.

I have to agree with the other negative reviews. I've had them for a while now, and they serve the purpose. For me, it's the boat. A friend had a cup of red wine on the boat, and quickly there was a spill. So, I got these. They do prevent spills, but the seal broke very quickly on both of them. Then, red wine got inside and can't be cleaned. Cheaply made. By comparison, the Tervis seems to last a bit better... plus tervis has a lifetime warranty.

They are smaller than you would expect. They feel more like small glasses than the over sized tumblers I'm used to seeing. The lid is not completely leak proof and does not screw on so a forceful enough hit would still spill your drink all over the place and tipping it over would result in a very slow leak. With in wide limits though, they are functional and fun. The color options are awesome.

I really wanted to loves these wine tumblers. I really did. I was so excited when they arrived that I unpacked them and washed them right away so that they were ready for use. Right off the bat I noticed that the material they are made out of reminds me of a disposable cup. It feels cheap and I am 100% sure that if one fell of my counter top it would either crack or shatter into a million pieces.
When I got done washing them in warm soapy water very gently by hand, guess what? There was a little water and soap bubbles in between the layers between the wine glass and the outside layer. This only mildly ticked me off because I thought oh well, if liquid can get in I guess it can get out. Whatever.
I poured a glass of wine, snapped the lid on, and took my puppy for a walk. That's right, this is for on-the-go use and I don't care if my neighbors think I'm a wine-o.
My puppy has a bad habit of jerking me around when she's on her leash. My wine did slosh out of the open top part, the part where you drink from, but only a little and it stayed on the top of the lid because of the lip that comes up to contain the spill. However, I did get a few drips on my hand due to the wine being able to get between the lid and the top of the cup. It's not a good seal.
By the time I finished my glass of wine I had a little puddle of cabernet sauvignon inside the two layers where it shouldn't be. This was upsetting because it was considerably more than the liquid that had entered before when I was washing them.

Also, it is impossible to get the last sip of wine out of this cup when the lid is on. I had to take the lid off to get to it.

After my leaky, red wine on my hand experience I refilled the tumbler with a white wine so I wouldn't ruin my clothes or carpet if it continued to dribble. By the time I finished glass number two I had a considerable puddle of cabernet sauvignon and pinot grigio between the layers where they should not be able to go. I turned the damn thing upside down, left it in the sink, and went to bed filled with crushing disappointment.

I was really looking forward to using these this summer at the pool and while boating, and I may still try to use them a little but I have a feeling they will be garbage soon. :(

A novel yet practical glass. Mama's sippy cup! Lid snaps on easily and stays secure. Holds 8 ounces of your favorite beverage under cover. Saves spills and protects your drink from pests or airborne debri. Be sure to remember where you bought them because you'll be asked... I get so many inquiries when I am using mine!

Cute, popular item but can't wash in dishwasher. The low end of this sort of thing. When I saw the leading brand of double wall glasses had this, I gave these as backups and bought the real deal! The difference in quality is very obvious. Depends on what you're looking for. These are hand wash only..(like many fine wine goblets, obviously)

I actually purchased these for an upcoming camping trip but was so excited to get them, I had to try them right away. I end up using these just around the house! When I am outside on the patio BBQing, I can cover my wine so bugs don't fly in. It is great to be able to take wine out by the pool, too! :) I can't wait to use them on my camping trip.
