I purchased 3 of the Rubbermaid Configurations Deluxe Titanium Custom Closet, 4-8 ft units, plus Pull-Out Wire baskets, Pant Racks, Tie Racks and some additional uprights and shelves for 3 closets in our home. In the past I've used the typical wire-mesh shelving requiring more measuring, custom cutting and physical effort to snap and secure the wire shelves into brackets. The Configurations system is a breeze to install, it's flexible, looks professional and is great value. Don't waste your time with lesser systems, this is the only one to purchase. I've shown one photo of one walk-in closet in our home.

Best Closet Solution

Was looking for more shelf space to turn my guest room closet into a overflow pantry while still keeping some hanging space for my guests. This system did the job perfectly. I was able to adjust the configuration to my needs. I have a 5 1/2 foot closet so I used what I needed and will save the extra pieces to do another closet.

Configeration Closet

I have used this same system in another closet. That's why I chose it again! The versatility is limited only by the closet itself. And the fact that you can buy additional pieces to 'fit' your needs is great.
And the fact that I can use the unused pieces from the existing set-up was great!

Been there done that

This is the best closet solution for a tight budget. I use this and added my own things to it very easy to add what you need. I would have done it sooner if I knew how easy it was to do. Love it doubles my storage space put more things in closet and it fits great. Buy this you want regret it very strong holding shelving with over 50 pair of shoes. Love my new closet

Great stater kit

I bought the product two weeks ago and have it installed without any trouble.
It is sturdy and versatile in that you can arrange the components to perfectly match one's individual needs. Additional components can be added to expand further and only limited by one's imagination and of course the size of the closet.

I am sold on this closet organization method.

Love this Closet setup

This is the second time I re-do a closet in my home. I used a white version for reach-in 5' closet of my teen's room and bought 2 wire drawers and a pant rack to upgrade. This made a huge difference in his organization and made his closet roomier. This time I re-did my 6'x6' walk-in with this titanium version. The hanging space increased over 5' and I put shelves on one wall for shoes and “shelfable” stuff to keep within reach. This kit comes with a LOT of shelves and hardware. I had some leftover for my space and design. I painted walls in yellowstone from B&M and ceiling in off white AC-42 from B&M. The titanium looks very good and expensive against these colors and there is no need for a wooden trim as metal color is already softened by yellow-golden wall. The instruction says to use 1/8 bit for the stud connection but I used 9/64 bit and still found the screws to be hard to tighten. I attached the guide rails to studs in both cases and "anchored" supports to walls. From my experience it is very secure. These closets are well made and easy to re-arrange and upgrade with roomy drawers and etc. The super expensive Elfa has wooden trim for nearly same metal shelves and looks a bit neater but it costs 10 x more and you still see the wall supports like you see them in this system which are the ugliest in the whole construction. But they are nearly invisible in a white version against the white wall.

Greate closet

We just installed this closet this weekend for my half of the master closet. The jury is still out on longevity, but this product gets a great bang for the buck. (We got the 3-6 foot one for my husband's side.) The quality seems to be good, and everyone thinks it looks really nice. My only complaint is the cheap end caps and coverings, which are plastic. Rubbermaid did such a great job with the other parts that this seems like an odd place to cut corners.

Good for master closet

Don't buy the titanium closet configuration, if you want to add more shelves, they don't sell them separately and the white ones won't fit, also the pull out baskets come with these little screws that your suppose to put through the drawer frame and the bracket with nothing to hold it on they just fall out! And nothing on the box or store shelf tells you this, I would never have bought it had I known.
