The product arrived very fast. The battery complaints others voiced about no batteries being sent seems to be addressed. The batteries are in the chopsticks with a removable tab to save the battery life for you. Others complained about the chopsticks being hard to use...that is not true. They are weighted differently than normal chopsticks on the end, but that is as easily compensated for as using a heavy ended fork.

I was very skeptical about ordering these because the reviews complaining about the above items and also how slippery they are. They are all silly complaints. They are not slippery at all. Those reviewers must be used to bamboo chopsticks from Chinese takeout. The only solution to their complaints would be to put sandpaper on the ends for added grip for them. For those people who cannot eat with chopsticks without stabbing the food, these are not for you. It's crazy, I know, but The Force will not magically come and teach you how to eat properly with chopsticks when you buy these.

The ends of these chopsticks are not traditional Chinese, which have the sharper point on the end. They are the Japanese style which has the blunted end. For the price, they exceed my expectations. My kids love them. They are 7 and 10 and can eat with them very well. They were the luckiest kids in the school they thought. And the big kid made me pack him a bento lunch for work so he could show off too, lol.

Unfortunately one of them recently had the battery randomly explode from one pair and the other pair had the top part break off when it fell on the ground due to thin plastic.
