    Oh my gosh, I coveted this gorgeous flatware for so long, and finally invested in it just before Christmas.

    So 2 years ago my bf bought $80 worth of electroplated flatware on here that he throws in the dishwasher on the regular, and it's still PERFECT. So for over $300, I should have flatware that can take a friggin' nuclear meltdown, ESPECIALLY when it says specifically "DISHWASHER SAFE." No. I barely used it, ran a couple pieces through dishwasher only twice, and all the gold is rubbing off. It looked pretty when I got it, but now it's starting to look like total garbage. I started handwashing immediately, but even then, it's still coming off, so it had nothing to do with dishwasher (but again, it says it's dishwasher safe). DO NOT BUY. This is the ripoff from hell, and wish I never bought it. :(
