• LAST CHANCE (THROUGH 8/7/2022)! Learn how the slow survive. The Survival of the Slowest exhibition presents nature’s wonders in the form of the slowest animals on the planet and how they survived for millions of years while being at the bottom of the food chain. The exhibition is full of presentations including the difference between cold- and warm-blooded species, the evolution and adaptation of the animals, and the ways some animals hide from predators. Visitors will have a chance to get an up-close look at live animals: sloth, hedgehog, iguana, and more.
• The Dorrance Planetarium is more than just a planetarium. It is an immersive experience that has the potential to showcase some of the most impressive artistic images of our time, combined with the riveting sound only heard in our full-dome planetarium.
• Irene P. Flinn Theater: See amazing documentaries about wildlife, space, oceans, and so much more in a completely lifelike experience found in our Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater. On a five-story screen with state-of-the-art sound, sit back and be whisked away to the far reaches of the world with larger-than-life images presented in a 2D or 3D format.
