My son absolutely LOVES his bed now. My bed has several layers of feathers (topper, mattress feather pad, and an additional feathertop mattress lower layer). The kid never wants to leave our bed so we decided to make his bed as soft as we possibly could so he can sleep in his own bed.
His bed doesn't have all the feather layers, but we tried to make it as cool as possible. We live in the Arizona heat and let me tell you, this feather topper works miracles!
It helps keep your body cool as long as you use the right sheets for it and also keeps you warm in the winter (just throw on some flannel sheets for winter).
Feather bedding including a feather duvet is the way to go for comfort and a soft cloud feel. We're all side sleepers so firm mattresses don't work for our family.
This product will stay nice as long as you take care of it. We purchased a cover for it on Amazon as well and we have no complaints whatsoever.
We will fluff it up and shake it and also turn it every week or twice a week (easy to do every time you change the sheets).
This topper will be flat if you don't do your part, but if you give it 3 minutes for turn and fluff you'll be glad and happy you did once you lay down. Tossing and turning will not be an issue as far as comfort is concerned.
We have also purchased one of these as a Mother's Day gift for my mother and she loves it! (She has a firm mattress due to back problems and she stated that the feather topper didn't hinder her sleep). Instead, it's helped her stay cool.
Wonderful product and excellent price. It's the same quality as the one we purchased for over $250 at the Department Store a few years back.
