      I read a lot of bad reviews about this case and I disagree. I had a mophie for my iPhone 4S and it worked just fine so when this came out for the iPhone 5 I did not hesitate to buy it.
      This is a more light weight case, it adds a little bulk to the phone but not much. It has a nice feel to it and it protects the phone.
      I found it a bit difficult to get the phone into the case, different from older version, but it gets the job done. When you are traveling or on the go with no way to charge your phone this case will do the trick.

      UPDATE MAY 5TH

      Just came back from a trip and I used the mophie every day. It has a very nice feel and grip and the phone doesn't feel that much heavier, just a little. It gave me the extra charge that I needed to complete my day since I would get to my hotel late at night.
      It is a bit dificult to separate the bottom part of the case from the top. All buttons are easy the access, only thing that bothers me is that the case has a bit of a opening where the lock button is. You can see a small space between the phone and the case, it is not flush.
      Still I would reomend this case or maybe get the most expensive version which will give you a little bit more charge.

      This is my 3rd juice pack. 2nd for the same phone. My 1st for iPhone 4 was greatand lasted over 2 years so when upgraded to iphone5 had to get one. Purchased that at ATT store. Not sure if it was legit as I had problems from the start lasred about 1 year and towards end did not charge the phone completely or charge the pack.
      Fast forward to this. Purchased on Amazon, more inexpensive than the original and love it. No problems. Protects the phone and charges phone. I would recommend purchasing this!!!!!

      This is working much better than I thought. It was a Christmas present and so it's been in use for three months and it hasn't diminished at all so far. The thing takes a while to charge, so I leave it overnight. But that takes care of charging not only the Mophie battery, but the phone battery as well. The charge lasts two days if I needed it to. While you're using your phone, it first drains the phone battery as normal, then switches to the mophie pack when the primary fuel tank runs out.

      CONS: the charger port is a different configuration than traditional iPhone chargers, which means that you always have to have your Mophie wire with you since it won't accept the iPhone charger cable. This is really the only thing that is preventing me from giving it five stars. I suppose it's a patent thing, why they can't make it like Apple (maybe?). But then I wish they had a converter that was handy to use (maybe attached to or embedded in the body of the case) so you could be ready to charge your phone on the go even if you didn't have the Mophie wire with you

      This is a great case at a great price. I bought the same case for my new iPhone 6, paid $100 for it at the ATT store. I liked it so much I got one for my husband's iPhone 5 for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price thru Amazon. The case fits well, it's sleek, easy to put on and remove (the connection does not work with my car Bluetooth, have to remove the case to use the other kind of connector). So convenient with the extra battery life. This is a good product, a useful item.

      I have purchased Mophie battery packs for all of my I phones going back to my I phone 4. As much as I like the i phone, it amazes me that Apple cannot figure out how to put a decent battery in it. Alas, Mophie. The case is well built and offers very good crash protection for the times when I drop it, kick it, slide it what ever. The battery pack will easily last me a full day and most times more before I have to recharge. The auxilary cable connection on the I phone 5 and 5 s is a little cumbersome but it works, and I don't really use it very much so no big deal, and when I do need to use it the adapter works well.

      I recommend this highly. Mophie makes great products.

      Product is okay. It worked great for the first 2 weeks after I received it, and then it got to the point where it would only continuously charge the phone if it was connected to the charging cable, but otherwise when you have the case alone charging the phone, it stops charging with any slight movement of the top and bottom pieces. I contacted Mophie and provided them the details of my claim, so they told me to send the case in so that they could see if it really was broken and then they would decide whether or not to give me a new replacement or send it back to me - for which I'd have to pay. Given that this was $20 and I have no other cases to put my phone in meanwhile I ship my case to them and wait for one, I haven't sent it in to Mophie yet just because I feel that it is too much of a hassle to go through without any reassurance that I will get a working product. To compare this process to that of other companies - Keurig sent me a brand new replacement coffee maker when my old one stopped working; no need to give them any information besides the serial number and the box came with an envelope to send back the cup from the old coffee maker. Additionally I also had a FitBit band which started to peel around the screen and they immediately sent me a new replacement via mail without having to send back the original band. Now, given that this item is priced much less than the examples I gave, I understand why they are less inclined to send out a new replacement, but they could learn from other companies to keep the customer satisfied when their product it clearly not doing its intended function by making the warranty process easier - a tip being sending out a new replacement and then asking for the old one back afterwards and if the customer doesn't return it, then you can invoice him/her.

      This is one of the smallest battery cases for a iphone 5s. It is really quite compact but still adds a bit of weight to the phone, and can warm your pocket significantly when charging the phone. Other battery cases have the same problems so this is not a criticism. The case protects the back of the phone well but obviously the front is completely exposed if you drop it.

      The case itself is charged by micro-usb, and has an internal lightning charger for the phone, I've had no issues of rejection from the phone you might have using a non-apple lighting adaptor for example. The gap for the headphone jack is enough to pass the standard apple ear-pods through but not a chunky cable.

      I bought this for day trips out with my iphone 5s. I'm a heavy user of my phone and was starting to find i needed a charge if i was using battery hungry activities like using apple map directions. The mophie juice pack is exactly what i needed to get through a long day out without running out of battery. I now find myself using it regularly on weekends (during the week my phone charges at my desk).

      Das Mophie-Pack hat meine volle Empfehlung. Ich benutze es täglich. Allerdings wenn ich mit dem iPhone 5S nur kurz unterwegs, z. b. Stadtbummel oder Besuch bei Freunden, bin und ich es mehr in der Hosentasche trage, verzichte ich auf das Mophie-Pack, weil des doch etwas aufträgt und das iPhone dann zu groß und zu schwer wird.

      Hatte mir das Case für mein Oktoberfest-Wochenende bestellt, da ich schon ahnte, dass der Akku beim vielen Bilder/Videos machen und Facebook-Postings/Chats nicht bis abends durchhalten wird. Und genau so war es auch, gegen 17:00 Uhr war der eigentliche iPhone 5 Akku leer. Dann schnell hinten den Ladeschalter des Case auf grün gestellt und schon hatte ich wieder Energie bis spät in die Nacht, genau wie ich es mir vorgestellt hab.
      Außerdem lässt sich das iphone und das Case gleichzeitig aufladen, man muß also nicht beides getrennt laden, sehr praktisch. Einfach das Case an den Strom hängen und das iphone wird gleich mit geladen, perfekt.
      Von den hier beschriebenen Abnutzungen habe ich bisher noch nichts gesehen, hatte es aber auch erst ein Wochenende im Einsatz. Im Normalfall nehme ich meine eigentliche dünne Hülle.
      Bin rundum zufrieden mit der Qualität, die Schale sitzt wirklich perfekt und erfüllt voll und ganz Ihren Zweck.
      Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist der hohe Anschaffungspreis, aber ich wußte ja worauf ich mich einlasse, kann ich schlecht nachträglich bemängeln ;-)
