I saw a candelabra bulb that had the same wattage as this lamp's bulb has, and it and stated it was 320 lumens i believe. Equal to a regular 40 watt bulb. Hope this helps.

To my untrained, naked eyes, it appears as bright or brighter than a 40 watt incandescent or a 12 watt CFL.

Lamp output is great, lights up the whole desk top. Output is greater than than a 9 watt CFL lamp..

Desk lamp mo. #72-1775 is listed @ 4.8 watts, but really need to know is how bright is it, i.e. how many lumens of light does it produce?

The height of the pole holding the lamp is 18"- please measure the height of your laptop to compare.

I was looking for an affordable replacement for my broken desk lamp. I saw this and liked it because it was LED. The light is PLENTY bright and I love it. The toggle switch at the base of the lamp is perfect for turning it on and off. Sleek design saves space.

Great

This lamp is bright, quiet and cute. It has a pretty low profile on the desk so it doesn't take up too much room. I like that the switch is easily accessible on the bottom. It adjusts to illuminate in an direction.

Good little lamp

The Desk amp (LED) is just plain super. At 5 watts, yet output is like 25 to 30 watts. Lights up whole desk top..

The AC adapter does not plug into the lamp base tightly - tends to unplug easily. Other than that, the light is wonderful.

This is my second lamp, very happy with amount of light, yet lack of glare.

LIGHT

As expected from an LED, it is surprisingly bright for its size and comes on instantly at full strength. I recently bought LED desk lamps from Lamps Plus for over $90 each. While the overall finish & appearance is no match, the light intensity is as good, or even a little better! After these two experiences, I am never going back to a CFL bulb on a desk lamp!

Being an LED device, the head is pretty compact. The light is soft-white and evenly spread, so is easy on the eyes. I personally prefer a slightly whiter light on a desk lamp, but that is not what the lamp claims, so I can't blame it.

The connector at the back is pretty loose and pulls out too easily. That cost it one star. I ordered two units and both have the same issue - not bad enough to return the lamps, however.

The appearance is pretty boring but the overall quality is decent.

The item comes fully assembled and ready to go - very surprising in today's world :)

Excellent LED Intensity

The plug-in is loose and you have to be careful not to move the lamp around. The lamp will turn off if you do and it's difficult to get it to turn on again.
