The Orange PPC112 is an awesome sounding cabinet that has extremely robust construction. Once one reaches the age of retirement, weight and bulky dimensions of gear start to matter. My heavy, large 2x12 combo was getting harder to maneuver through narrow doors and stairwells. I like Orange amps so I looked to them for a solution. I also like the tight bottom end sound of a closed back cab. I paired 2 of these cabs with an Orange Rocker 15 Terror head and now have a very portable rig that sounds unbelievable. I would highly recommend this and all Orange products. Of course my buying experience was impeccable from my sales engineer, Tyler Nigro.

Music background: Still disturbing neighbors after many years.

One speaker wonder

Pretty impressive for a single speaker. I was literally blown away by this little cab. Got it for home use. But I'll say the only time I've had a noise complaint at my jam spot is with this cab. I own 412's and 212's and this 112 is what I was using when I got the noise complaint. Has great sound no matter which head I tried through it. Highly recommend this cab. I did a bunch of YouTube research before I bought it. I'm really glad I settled on this one.

Music background: Been playing since 1981.

Outstanding Cab

Bought this based on a recommendation from Kolton Kreuzer back in August. Had been looking at different cabs and had played quite a few. Spent a lot of time in the UK and saw Orange gear everywhere but never tried out any of their stuff. Like everyone else, I Know the V30 speaker well and read some reviews about this cab and decided to take his advice. Very glad I did. After playing it for a few months, I picked up another one used and now, after a few headswaps I am running the two PPC112's with a Blackstar HT20RH MkII which seems to be a perfect match. I did push them with higher watt heads but for some reason the HT20RH likes these two cabs. Best way to describe the sound/tone is "Full". They punch well above their weight for 1/12's. These are just very well built, reliable cabs and I like that they are bigger than some of my other 1/12's - the larger size seems to give them that added depth and fullness. Great for rock, metal, and the cleans are impressive. I would definitely recommend this cab.

One quick plug for the Sweetwater folks - I had to return a 2/12 cab and they lived up to their reputation with customer service. These guys are pros - best in the business.

Sounds Great!

I bought this to replace a stock 1x12 Egantor cabinet for my Tweaker-40 head. This cab has exceptional tone and quality and pairs well with my amp.
