Q: I have a traveling trailer. And have a older TV. What type do I need for traveling (7 answers)
A: The Roku 1 is the only model currently on the market that has the connection for the AV component cable (white, yellow, and red plugs) typically seen on older TVs.- A: First, get aRoku that is right for your tv. Then you need to subscribe to a streaming service like Netflix, Hulu. Then get ready to cut your cable!!
Q: Can a router be used for WiFi and Netflix, or we need to seperate gagdets. (7 answers)
A: Yes it can...The Router (other wised called the wireless router) is what actually gives you wireless Internet (wifi). The router takes the Internet from your modem and converts it into a wireless internet signal. This now allows you to use devices that need wifi for internet access (like I-pads and tablets). Once you buy a router you can now purchase a Roku Streaming Media Player. This will allow you wireless internet access to Netflix as well as other movie Apps. I would suggest you read reviews and purchase a good router from a reputable company like NetGear. The better the router the more powerful your wireless Internet signal will be. Think of it as radio reception..if you have a cheap radio; your reception will be horrible but if have good radio your reception will be much better. I also suggest that you place a security pass code on your router signal (iHow to nstructions are included with Router purchase); this will prevent your neighbors from stealing your wifi signal. They won't be able to access your wifi without the password....Hope this helps..Q: Can I completely eliminate basic cable, since I really only watch channels 2-30? (6 answers)

A: The only difference is the remote. the Roku 3 ($99) come with a romote that you can speak into and fine the movies/shows you want. It also has a headset that attached to the remote. If you don't think you will use these features save the money and get the Roku 2. have a friend who got the 3 and the voice thing was fun for awhile but he no longer uses it. He never used the headset.
