Great product
This is a great product for leaving your skin feeling smooth and drawing out excess oils from pores. I use once a week, applying a thin layer after cleansing my face. There’s a slight tingle at first, which calms as the masque dries. After 15 minutes, the clay has turned from a light brown, wet consistency, to dried white - and you can see the oil drawn out of your pores.Â

Powerful mask in action
This is the first Aesop mask I have purchased and love how extremely powerful this is. I have combo skin and like to place this to my T-zones or all over in the summertime. I like to explore more Aesop masks and their hydration masks in future.Â

Aesop's usual high standards. similar to their camomile clay mask, not yet sure if stronger, but slightly less drying. I prefer the jar to the tube for ease.

Good but...
It is a nice clay-based mask and helps to unclog pores but something in it (probably the fragrance) leaves my skin tingling when applying and after which bothers me a lot.

Didn't do anything
I've had this mask for a long time, bought it because a blogger recommended it so highly. Either she was bought out by the company or we just have different skin types because it did absolutely nothing for me. My skin is extremely dry and I'm noticing that most of the people leaving positive reviews have combination skin so that might be the problem. My skin feels smooth immediately after using it but it feels like that after using any skincare, and it had no long term effects.

Aesop excellent as always
My go to face mask for when my skin needs a bit of care and attention. Draws everything nasty out of my pores and leaves my skin soft, clear and bright. Lasts an absolute age as well so worth the price in my opinion.
