Being from Kentucky and my husband from Mississippi, I decided that our wedding vow renewal needed some "down home" items. The cake topper was a man fishing and the girl reaching up to grasp the ring (oh how appropriate). The week before the vow renewal (which was our only 'wedding' due to the events of 9/11 10 years earlier) I saw these and HAD to get them. My husband and I even drank sweet tea from them like good southern folk would do. lol. Honestly, these were awesome. Everyone loved them and thought they were funny. I bought six of them for the mothers, my sister and brother-in-law and my husband and I. Very sturdy, heavy, just like a mason/ball jar! LOVE THEM!

    I got this as a gag gift for a friend of mine who loves wine and mason jars. Initially I was going to give it 4 stars because upon closer inspection, it looks to be a mason jar adhered to the stem with some sort of glue--maybe hot glue? Just in case, I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dishwasher.

    Even so, I've given it 5 stars because the glue isn't noticeable, and the glass and the stem hold together very firmly. This product looks great in person, and is surprisingly high quality for a "gag" gift. My friend really loved it and had no complaints, so neither do I.

    You can screw on the lid and take it on the go. If you had a purse you could put it in there and bring it to the movies that way, it doesn't really leak because ti has a rubber gasket.

    basically a canning jar on a stem - these make a hilarious gag gift. With your purchase you get a single glass with a lid. The lid works but is the two piece lid that you find on many canning jars - if not properly applied the drink can leak out. The recipients of these both died laughing and drank out of them for the rest of the evening.
