This is another game in a series by the developer that are ingenious and entertaining. This is a very cute and entertaining mind teaser game where you have to solve a puzzle by assembling a mechanical Rube Goldberg invention. The graphics, animation and FX sounds are well done as well as the background music. You have to complete at least 4 of the inventions to unlock the next challenge. There is a setting that you can adjust to eliminate unnecessary pieces that are not required to make the invention work so you may want to start there for a younger child. It makes the game easier to play. You can also reset all of your progress in the app and play it again. Once you solve 4 of the puzzles in the level the next page unlocks but you can still finish the remaining puzzles in the level that you are in to earn the gold stars.
It is fun and you are learning the interaction of gears, belts and machines. The game is short and easily solved and I wish that it was longer and had more levels. I rated it as a 5 star app. Overall this is a cute and entertaining game and it teaches your child how to use their imagination and how to solve problems. There are 66 levels with some difficult ones added in to challenge your creativeness.
This app contains no adware or malware and it is safe to install onto your device. Your children and you will like the app so get is while it is a FAOTD.

This is a good sized game coming in at 119 MB in total installed size. The installation was split into 14.41 MB that was installed into my device memory and 105 MB was installed onto my SD card memory space automatically.
I'm a grown woman who's bought many game apps, and I have to say this one is my absolute favorite. It's fun, funny, clever, interesting, adorable, incredibly imaginative, and it just cracks me up! It also makes me think, but it's not hair-pulling frustrating. It's easy to play but can be challenging as well. There's no time limits, no lives to run out of, no coins or hints to have to buy, no walkthroughs to have to search the web for--it's perfect! Just an enjoyable, relaxing, activity.
UPDATE: Just finished all 66 delightful levels plus the VS. challenges, and now I'm sad! I may do what I've never done before with any other game and start over again from the beginning. I really hope they make more apps in this series. Few things in life are just pure, clean, effortless, fascinating, fun like this game is.
UPDATE 3/15/15: They changed it! I reinstalled it last night to play it again and found certain things were not the same, plus, the old man doesn't say the same funny things he used to when you finished each level. I HATE that! Why mess with perfection?!
Whatever they did made it somewhat less enjoyable than the first time I played it so for that reason, I'm deducting a star from my original 5-star rating. They should have left well enough alone.
Somewhat fun little time-waster, but I think the author REALLY underestimates the average person's intelligence or else just doesn't understand the difference between "challenging" and "tedious". All levels were fairly easy in terms of actual thinking -- the "hard" levels (where the voice-over even makes a point of taunting the player) were at most an exercise in trial-and-error. Had there been actual logic and problem solving, this could have been a really great game. As it stands, it's not terrible, but after you master a few basic concepts, it's just not very interesting.
The game is a puzzle game in which you have to drag components onto a level in order to complete an invention. There are gears, pulleys, and other obvious elements, and of course "clever" things like windmills, rodents running on treadmills, and other pieces you have to learn how to use. By putting the pieces together, you build various creations to solve problems. A simple example would be scaring a rodent into running on a treadmill and using that as a source of power for rocking a chair back and forth.
The building blocks of each level are interesting enough, but in too many cases you just have to guess at what you're doing rather than solve a logic puzzle. For instance you may have two gears available but you have to figure out which one "snaps" onto which spot on the game board. And in many cases you're just laying pipes/wires/etc. rather than trying to solve a problem. More than once you're told to simply build something, which you may not have any idea how to build, so you just drag things around until the design looks right and turn in on in the hope you succeeded.
The game gets around the tedious elements to some degree by making it impossible to put the wrong object in the wrong space, but this feels more like a way to band-aid the bad levels than anything else.
It's not going to challenge most adults, but it can at least be entertaining for a few hours. Don't expect it to be something you come back to after finishing it, though. I haven't tried the multiplayer mode, so I can't say if that helps the game any.
This game is great for STEM learning! Problem solving and really gets you thinking outside the box. My 6 year old I enjoy playing together. Solving each puzzle really feels like a huge accomplishment! Highly suggest this game
This is a great game, even for a silver surfer like me! I'm having to ration myself so I don't do all the puzzles too quickly, but in 2 days I've done 47 out of 66 . They do get more difficult as you progress. The graphics are excellent, and the sound effects have encouraged me to turn up the volume. When each puzzle has been solved, I especially like to re-run the solution graphics - some of them make me laugh out loud. I think this would be a very good game for children who like practical problems.
