Don't bother. Fell apart right away

Don't bother. Fell apart right away
Super cheap and broke right away. My 2 year old loved this but sadly it fell apart right away the second day she used it. All she did was out her little shopkins in it so it was very lightweight use, next thing we see the handle broke and the screws fell apart that held the box together. Very dissapointing.

I think it is a very cute metal lunch box. I purchased it for a friend who collects these little lunch boxes, they are about 2/3 of the regular size for an actual lunch and thermos. It is sturdy and well made, the handle is plastic. It is a good size for storing things more than an actual lunch box. Everyone is on the Frozen crze so I figured it would be nice for her collection.

Mom's experience: This is not the sturdy metal lunchbox that I remember from childhood. In fact, it arrived with a spot on the lid near the latch actually dented in - but I was easily able to push it back into proper postition. The metal is thin and malleable - if you were to sit on it it would be crushed flat. The capacity is not large if used as a real lunchbox. I couldn't fit more than one or two containers with food inside. Soft sided things like baggies fit better. (if you force the top closed over something too big you WILL dent the top!)...and of course my child wants to use this as a regular lunchbox!
Child's experience: She is very excited to have this Frozen lunchbox and likes it very much. She knew there was a chance she could get either of the pictured boxes - but she did end up with the one she liked most, which was an added joy. The picture is clear and bright, nice artwork on all sides. She wanted it and bought it with her own money, so it's all good : ) It will be a useful container for lunches or just storing other things.

Adorable! Small in size so it would not fit a whole lunch but I bought it for the items that don't need to be kept cold but do need to be kept from squishing in my daughter's backpack so the size is perfect. She loves it!

Ordered 4 tin lunch boxes - 2 broke immediately. This was the best of the lot. The handle seems to be the thing that breaks on these boxes, but this one is wider and sturdier. The box itself it also a little deeper than some other lunch boxes making it easier to store bulkier items. Plus, best of all, the price on this lunch box was awesome.

The item arrived yesterday and I had the happiest little girl in the world. This morning she dropped the lunch box before school and the handle broke off. Now I have the saddest little girl in the world. Handle is made like a cheap POS. Made to be sold in the dollar store and then not worth a dollar. Also was smaller than expected..

This lunch looks nice and my five year old loves it. But it arrived with a dent in it already. I wanted to send it back and get another one but she is devistated over the idea and my husband pointed out that it'll just get dented from her taking it to school anyways. So we will keep it. But at the price it was I really couldn't complain too much. I think the size is just perfect for what my five year old takes to school. She's in love so I guess I'm happy.

My daughter has destroyed two bento lunch boxes and one other metal box. This is the first lunchbox that has survived any length of time. The metal is a little thin and she did manage to bend one of the sides once. However I was able to push it back into shape with no trouble. My daughter loves the image and it has plenty of room for pudding cups and juice boxes- good size. Tough but not indestructible. Good buy, happy kid.

This is so cute! And my 6 year old daughter just loved it. She loves to pack lunches in this type of lunchbox to take on "picnics" in her grandpa's living room. These are also great for storing dress up makeup and Frozen accessories, which I'm sure all of you are stocked up on by now....However, the reason I gave this 3 stars is because the hinges broke on the first day. When she got out of the car she bumped it on the seat ahead of her and it popped open and the hinge was flapping. They are made of really cheap and flimsy metal (as is the whole box really). With the price I didn't expect the box to last long, but I had hoped for more than this. My daughter was devastated. If I could find one of these that is higher quality I would pay more money for it, because my daughter would actually USE this item frequently. I sure do wish companies would go back to the old ways and put some pride into their products by improving the quality. I want to buy another one of these, but I won't because I know that the same thing will just happen again. I don't want to buy products just to throw them out a couple of days later.

This was purchased as a little present for my girlfriend, more as a joke than anything. Having said that, when I saw the actual product and tried it out, it was well built and know it could work well for children that might want a Frozen themed lunch box.

Good quality tin box. We use it to store magnetic letters and numbers. When travelling in the car we just pick it up and my daughter plays with it for ages. Obviously the frozen theme also appeals to her.
