The book is filled with greatness: a look at the updates the Petersiks' have made to their own home, a glimpse at others' living spaces, design ideas and well explained DIY projects. The book is organized by living space purpose, which makes it very intuitive and easy to read. The snippets of their children, Clara and Teddy, as well as their adorable Chihuahua, Burger, sprinkled throughout the book are delightful and a wonderful glimpse into the life us fans have grown so attached to! I highly recommend this book for a fun and thought provoking read into design and style. It is a book I'll gobble up from cover to cover and then reference continually. It also looks great as a compliment to their first book, Young House Love, as a design element in and of itself!

You can't help but root them on and think yes! wow! that! because everything they share is just what the title says: loveable and liveable. I think this book is a step up from the last...more polished and varied, full of fascinating, inspiring pics of their home and others. It is written in their signature upbeat voice, full of humor and light. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm a tid bit biased, as my home is one of the dozens shared. Even if it weren't, I would love the book anyway. Hope to see more from these guys!

I was a huge fan of the Young House Love blog and pre-ordered this book hoping to see a little bit more of this family's life and home. However, if you are buying this book to see the "never-before-seen makeovers in the Petersiks’ own house" don't bother - they have already posted almost all of them online and don't go into much more detail in the book. However, if you ARE interested in seeing hundreds of beautiful photos of different people's homes (and how they made it work for them) then this is the book for you. The book is clearly organized and while some of the Petersiks' suggestions are average at best, the beautiful photos make up for it. Overall I would say this book is worth the money, though it didn't entirely live up to what I had hoped it would be.
