Product Description

Grow your own garden-fresh veggies with this Mobile Vegetable Patch. This mobile, self-watering planter with trellis makes home growing easy. Two wheels and a handle allow you to find the perfect sunny patch in your yard. It holds up to 10 gallons of potting soil (approx. 1.3 cubic feet) and includes an extra-large 3-gallon water storage zone with a self-watering pot. Sectional trellis panels can be added as plants grow, and it will support growth up to 3 feet high. Durable polypropylene planter measures 51" x 29-1/4" x 13-5/8" with trellis attached.

Great for bush tomato plants

If you do plant tall tomato plants (because I don't know better) then you will need to add stakes to hold up your plants. The self-watering feature is great and it fits quite a bit of water. I hope to get another one for my cherry tomatoes and lettuce. The company responded well to a missing item when I emailed them. They sent a replacement very quickly and followed up with another email. Excellent customer service.

    Happy with the tub, but the trellis is to brittle. I purchased for tomato plants, and the size, shape, and trellis are great for this purpose. The tub and trellise are plastic, and the trellis is assembled with fiberglass poles. The tub is sturdy and hold a lot of soil. It's deep with an insert to help with drainage and wheels for moving a full tub short distances. The trellis was easy to assemble, and comes in 3 sections so you can add height over time. Each trellis section is 1 piece of molded plastic the "folds out" to mount on 3 small fiberglass poles. However the connections are brittle. On of my planters arrived with cracked/broken connections in 2 separate sections. with outdoor use, I expect the plastic to get more brittle over time. It's a pretty expensive for something that require immediate repair, reinforcement and likely replacement of the trellis over time. Aside from the trellis issue, it is a good tub, good size, and nice idea for growing vegetable vines on my exterior deck.

    Decent tub which was a good shape and size for what I needed. Nice that one of the sides is on wheels for easier mobility. The color isn’t exactly terra-cotta but it’s fine. The flimsy plastic holder for the flexible trellis on the tub snapped and broke immediately. I expect to have to reinforce the trellis once the tomato plant grows tall.
