Little girls love it.
This is a great introductory nerf gun for little kids. My 3yr old loves it she is getting very proficent at shooting stuffed animals off the couch. I still have to cock it for her but I'm sure that will change as she grows stronger and older.

    We purchased these for some Easter fun and they did not disappoint. They are small nerf guns, perfect for little hands. We purchased the blue version of these for the boys in our group and the blue ones were a little tough to pull back, but these 'girl' version guns were not quite as tough but seemed to shoot equally hard. Be careful, they do have some power. My daughter took a dart in the eye and we needed an ice pack and a little time to shake it off. Overall, great purchase for the price and fun!

    Bought these as a sort of gag gift for some guys at work. We had an ongoing nerf war and they were unarmed. Being a nice person, I bought them these. Well, that was a mistake! These things are crazy accurate. They shoot surprisingly far also. They never jam because of how they work and they come with festive Rebelle darts, which made it easy to keep track of whose were whose. So, an excellent purchase all around...and I guess they would be great for kids too.

    Pro's: Surprisingly powerful and accurate, small size is perfect for concealing in a men's suit jacket pocket, but sleeves are a bit of a stretch. Perfect for sneaking up on a coworker. Usable by people over 6'4" but only barely, but on the plus side taller people can use two guns in one hand.

    Con's: Long range accuracy is unsurprisingly erratic, only comes with two darts per blaster. As both of these are to be expected or already noted on the packaging I didn't deduct from the rating.

    Other Thoughts: This is the perfect office assassin weapon, coloring aside. The bigshot is not as concealable, and not quite as accurate, but it does sting more at point blank range.

    Pros: They shoot surprisingly far; Darts are bright and therefore pretty easy to find. Cons: The ring can be very hard to pull down and took my child a while to get the hang of (she is only 4 which is below recommended age). I would buy again - fun for everyone!

    These, along with the other Nerf weapon I bought for the little girls, were the hit for the entire family, who quickly confiscated the weapons for their own use, on Christmas morning. I made certain to buy extra ammunition for nonstop action and a target for practice. Importantly, I also purchased safety goggles as these can generate a decent shot to the eye. You have to be strong enough to pull down on the ring at the bottom and lock it into position to create the air pressure needed to deploy the dart. These are a great way for small children to develop depth perception and visual acuity with respect for safety.

    I bought these gun for my 5 year daughter. The gun fits perfectly in her petite hands and she has no problems in loading the darts by herself. The guns don't look out of place when my teenage daughter uses it.

    Due to the compact size of the gun, I thought the darts won't travel much, I was wrong. They darts cover the same distance as other Nerf guns we own. One of the Nerf guns I use and can highly recommend is the NERF N-Strike Elite Strongarm Blaster.
