Cut Like A Boss
Like a professional-quality knife in the kitchen, a pair of real shears makes cutting fabrics a real joy. These shears don't balk at even the heaviest of fabrics, including 16oz canvases, coated wools, and even multiple layers of denim. They took a couple weeks to break in and a slight adjustment of the joint, but now they're an indispensable part of my workflow.Also, they're gold.

    These scissors are incredible. I sew as a hobby and have been cutting my fabric with a scissor that came in a Singer kit until I purchased these as a splurge, and they make such a difference. The edges of my fabric are now clean, this cuts through even the thickets fabrics like butter and the best part, for me, is that they have a nice heft to it so I can use their own weight in my favor when I am cutting but they are not so heavy that I can't lift them (and I have very weak arms and tendonitis in my hand). I love how they look and they stay sharp. I've had them for 2 years and haven't had to sharpen them yet. My pair is made in Italy, and came in a cute plastic gift box. At one point I had an issue with something stuck in them that was impeding operation, and their customer service (Fiskars, the company that owns Gingher) were great and offered to replace them. Luckily, I solved it on my own, but in the process I learned they offer lifetime warranty.
    I would buy these again, and actually I have: I bought a pair for the person who taught me how to sew and it made a terrific gift. I can't say enough good things about these scissors. They cut through fabric, leather, batting and every other sewing material I have encountered so far.

    Love these scissors! I'm going for a gold theme at my work in office supplies and these were perfect. Nice and heavy and they feel durable. Sharp as ever and cuts without any problems at all. My coworkers are all jealous and constantly comment on how awesome my scissors are. I'm buying a second pair becuase I'm doing a gold theme at my home office too and I like these once so much. The only down side is the price. $25 for scissors is insane! You can get a normal pair that work just as well for $5 but then again I doubt they would cut like these. These scissors are actually for cutting fabric but they work just fine in the office.

    They are definitely the best brand of scissors your ever going to find. Extremely sharp. Cuts through fabric like butter. Sharp from the base to the tip. However, they will rust and lose sharpness if they’re used improperly. Like anything that is high quality and expensive, they need to be cared for. This is my third time purchasing this brand. First pair was lent to a friend and never returned, second pair lost all sharpness and became a pain to use because, well I didn’t take care of them. If you care about your scissors don’t abuse them like I did. Keep them in the case when ur not using them, don’t use them to cut anything that is wet, or sticky (such as tape), or that has wet sticky glue on it, and definitely do not use them to cut through metal wire or aluminum foil. Protect them, love them and they should serve u well. ;)

    Love these shears so so much.
    They cut very very well. As soon as I picked them up I noticed a bit of weight to them compared to other scissors but that’s to be expected. You get very used to them over time. Nothing excessive about the weight of them.
    The only complaint I have is that my gold looked a little faded in some parts.
