Both my 4 year old and 7 year old love playing with this. It brings hours of fun for them.

This was requested as a present. She's 7 years old and was most excited by the lights. Looks really neat with the lights out. Had to get a couple more pets because it only comes with one and she enjoys the "interaction" of the pets.

Pets castle playset

I got this on sale for $27 and my daughter plays with it a lot. It's originally $49 and definitely NOT worth that price!

Not worth $49 but worth 27!

I bought this for my niece's birthday. She is turning 5 y.o. and she's obsessed with Palace Pets. She knows all of their names and who they belong to, etc... She saw this in the store and asked for it to be her birthday present. It was very easy to assemble, but the loose pieces are very small and will be lost and/or thrown away soon. My niece plays with it but only for a short amount of time and then moves on to another toy. She is more excited about collecting the individual Palace Pet figures.

Quality only OK

Although this playset provides an initial "WoW" factor because it is very pretty to look at, it does not keep my preschooler engaged at all. :( I purchased a set of 5 additional Palace Pets to go with it, but that does not entice her either - and she is a Palace Pets fan. The swing keeps coming off of the rod hinge, making it not such a fun experience. The Palace Pets do not fit well in the escalator, so it keeps falling out as we slide the slider up and down (not fun for her either, after a few too many tries). The colored lights are very pretty (even though they do not stay on for long so you have to keep pressing the light button too often for it be fun any longer). Most pieces to this set are actually TOO small, even for her little hands. All in all, very pretty to look at but does not keep her attention at all.

Made cheap not worth the money

I was so disappointed with the quality of this considering how much it cost. The base isn't even solid plastic. Light cardboard makes up the interior floor on the bottom. The moveable pieces move poorly. The overall construction is just incredibly cheap. The whole thing seems like it will fall apart quickly. I would not buy this again, and would warn anyone from buying this, unless it is listed at half price.
