This item is really wonderful. I received it FAST and it is exactly as described. The size might be a little smaller than 6 ft. high and 8 ft wide, but not by much. The decal comes in numerous parts and they are all of a good size for easy installation. They fit together perfectly and really look fantastic! I used the guide that comes included in the package for placement of the pieces, but if you wanted to, you could easily shape the tree slightly different and certainly you can place the leaves, birds and frames where ever you want. I made sure to measure out exactly where I wanted to put it before I began sticking it to the wall. I cut out the main pieces of the trunk and branches and taped them to the wall before peeling the decals off of the backing to make sure I had it positioned properly. Two days after I installed it, I noticed that one part was starting to peel away from the wall. I pressed it back into place and it has not peeled back up. I went to Ikea and picked up regular black picture frames to use. I'm excited to print the pictures and finish this up! I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again!

Had it a year and it's still standing tall! Lol
I bought this a little over a year ago and it is still on my wall... I am quite pleased with it. It looks really nice and just brings my living room together ! I get so many compliments when people come over about how nice it looks. It comes on a couple sheets that you have to peel off of and stick to the wall... I found the easiest way to do it without so much hassle is to cut the pieces out while it is on the sheet then tape the pieces to the wall in the place you want it. Then start at the base of the tree and using a grocery card or credit card and work it off the paper sticking it to the wall. It took me a few hours to do it by myself except for one branch that was really long I had to get someone else to hold it up while I stuck it to the wall because it kept wanting to curl on me. It comes with the frame decals but I just went to family dollar and bought real frames to use instead to add a 3D like affect plus make it easier if I want to switch out pictures.
