The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers to reach Nesebar, Bulgaria is Burgas Airport, due to its proximity and frequent flights. It's approximately 25km away, ensuring a short transfer time.
Nesebar, Bulgaria, is a compact city best explored on foot. Public transport is limited, but there's a regular bus service (Bus 10) connecting to Sunny Beach and Burgas. Taxis are readily available, though ensure they're licensed. Cycling is an option, but be mindful of the cobbled streets. Car hire is possible, but parking can be challenging in peak season.
The Old Town of Nesebar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the best area to stay. It offers historical sites, charming streets, and proximity to the beach. It's also well-connected to other parts of the city.

A special place in Bulgaria where you may not feel like you are in Bulgaria. A very beautiful and unique village - it is worth staying longer, not just coming for half a day. I especially recommend doing it in the off-season - October or May.

Nessebar is a lovely place to visitwith lots of good restaurants on offer .Quieter than Sunny beach but it is only a short bus ride or walk along the beach if you want to experience it .lots of little cobbled streets to explore, nice sandy beach in new nessebar and little pebble beaches in old nessebar very child friendly for families and great for older travellers as well .we have visited at all times of year and enjoyed every visit .bus service is frequent although busy in peak season,we have stayed all inclusive and also in guest rooms both have been good value for money.Aqua marine restaurant is great for good or just a drink ,but really there are too many to mention ,we have come to know bar owners and cake shop lady over the years and always go back to see them.Michael's Eco Bar is a hidden gem (how long have I got ?!)

This part of the Black Sea is much better than the Sunny Beach. Not so crowded, you can have your holiday in calmness. The old town is beautiful (but a bit expensive to eat there according to the Bulgarian average prices).

Nesebar is a very picturesque old town with many old Churches and buildings which is why it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lots of places to eat with great views. Very touristy and crowded in August when we went although hardly anyone there in the morning. Don’t take a car in if you don’t have to. Car parking is very reasonable but you might not get a space.
Very good hotel at the beach, perfect location. We stayed 6 days with our friends, most of the rooms have sea views, and the view from my room was fantastic looking at the old town of Nessebar, on arrival we've been nicely surprised with complimentary sweets and small bottle of rose. The staff were very polite and hard working, the restaurant had a reasonable verity of food which was very good. We enjoyed the evening entertainment in the restaurant, especially the Bulgarian night. Highly recommend.
We've enjoyed the modern, super clean apartment with good breakfast. The apartment was large enough, has a beautiful bathroom and nice terrace. The sheets and towels were spotless and of a good quality. The beach nearby is nice, 3-5 min walk, the restaurant is good. The staff is friendly and very young but trained.
The location is 30-40 min walk to the old town and center -which is great as we don't enjoy crowded beaches/places.
We'll definetly come back!
Great location, very friendly staff, especially cleaning lady. Very close to beach, old town, restaurants , supermarkets, small shops.
Also, there is a bus stop right next to the hotel building, so you can go to the Sunny Beach or to the Nessebar Old Town from there.
The swimming pool is nice, with a great view. I saw that some people were complaining that the water in the pool is cold, but for me it was fine, just refreshing.
I really recommend it.
The location was perfect. Steps from the hustle and bustle of the old town yet quiet and cozy. It is right behaind the only functioning church in town and it was lovely to hear the bells in the morning. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were able to even park our small car right infront. The stuff was polite and friendly. It was a very pleasent stay for our family. We will keep the hotel in mind for futere visits and recomend it to others.
It was out of season, so there wasn't any reception staff to greet and meet, but luckily our Bulgarian friend called the number on my booking reference, and someone came with the key in less than 5 minutes.
It was on the seafront. The apartment was amazing, the wrap around terrace gave spectacular views of Sunny Beach and of Old Nessebar.
Would definitely recommend the Paradiso.
🙂
We were warmly welcomed and Gery was helping us with every question we had (thanks again for everything!). The room was nice and clean. It is located in the old town of Nesebar (everything in the old town is in walking distance / Sunny Beach is reachable by bus). We definitely recommend to book a room in this nice small hotel.
The hotel is situated in an UNESCO protected area.
You have the impression that you are in a romantic movie.
All old city is clean, nice old buildings, full of history at any step up.
Having a lunch, dinner at a terrace with sea view as " Old Nesebar" is a blessing.
The beach is quite ,not jam of people.
Super holiday for me.
Super nice location, easy to walk around the old town in Nessebar. Beautiful big terrace with great view towards the fishing boats. Comfortable beds and clean. The hotel was quite and it was nice to rest. The parking was some hundert meters from the hotel but it was nice that it was included in the price of the stay.
Amazing hotel. Just for the aesthetic of the building itself, loads of seating areas, lovely outdoor pools. Staff very pleasant and diligent. Food very good quality for all inclusive, fantastic salads deserts etc. Rooms with balcony, fantastic shower. By far the finest hotel we have ever stayed in.
The hotel is perfectly located, right on the beach and in between city center and the old town. The breakfast is very decent and the staff friendly. I lost my wallet next to the pool, one of the staff members found it and left it at the reception. ❤
Rooms are big and clean, tasty food all around, snackbar pizza is good, i liked the cocktails, the location is also great and good for relaxing, great swimming pool. If i will come back to Bulgaria in the future this hotel will be the first option.
I really liked the location of the hotel- conveniently located in the heart of the old town. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.
clean and cool rooms with sea view, friendly staff, very good and varied breakfast, time spent at the pool very relaxing. old town 20 minutes on foot for those who love evening walks.
The position is very central and the person from the staff that helped us to reach the hotel (it is in the very old town and you need to pass a checkpoint to get it) was very kind.
good price. good location. working elevator. small equipped hotel type room with balcony. working AC and heat. nice roof area (if not locked). walk to old Nessebar in 10 minutes.
