    I am not certain how to rate this so I'm going down the middle. The product itself is lovely and photographs very well. I also love the size. However, it sheds, which is somewhat (okay a lot) embarrassing during shoots. The last shoot was an infant and a few gobs of "fur" ended up in my hands and on the floor. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem or perhaps I inadvertently received a lemon. I'm uncertain if I'll use this again with people.

    This is very nice faux fur. The reviewers who complained about it shedding may have been trying to use it without finishing the edges. Yes. It sheds from the raw edges, but not nearly as much as some cheaper short pile furs. But once you get all the raw edges concealed, it does not shed. It is somewhat "messier" in appearance than I had expected. It almost looks like my long haired dog's coat with a few mats, in need of a brushing. I thought, for some reason, it would be smooth and silky. But I'm still happy with it and love the vest I made from it. And the backing is soft, almost like a jersey fabric.

    The package itself came on time in really cute packaging but the second I unfolded the fabric I realized the mess that I had gotten myself into. This stuff sheds like crazy!!! I used it for an apparel design class project and every time I touched it I would leave the studio covered in fabric. Save up and spend your money on the expensive higher quality stuff from mood or other high end fabric stores.

    Thanks the Mongolian Gray Faux Fur Fabric arrived just as you said and in plenty of time for me to fashion out 16 beards for a Musical Surprise Skit at my son's 1930's themed wedding.

    Each beard was distinctly different, some sporting mustaches w/wire in them 18inches long, the grooms beard went below his waist.

    Made a vintage microphone to conceal the modern one and four of us sang "Man of Constant Sorrow" with three additional verses for the wedding couple. A complete surprise for the bride, not the groom...

    As the song went on, more and more people popped up on the dance floor to do crazy dances... The beards were hidden beneath the tables so even wives did not know about it as one by one men folk hopped up and danced.

    Thank you, the beards made the day and some say enhanced the entire wedding.
