I have 3c/4a natural European curls and have been trying out new leave-in conditioners as over the years I've found that my hair loves these the most. This was an ok ish product, although I won't be buying it again. It wasn't really man-enough for my curls. The smell was lovely and fruity, but bought back memories of a play-doh type smell. This leave-in was extremely runny, so made it difficult to apply. I applied to damp washed hair, and once applied it made my hair feeling very wet again as it was so runny. The curl definition wasn't great for me either. I need a thick creamy leave-in that will weigh my curls down a bit. I personally thick this would be more suited to someone with big chunkier loose curls or wavy hair. It's not strong enough for pourous, dry frizzy tight Afro type curls. When my hair dried naturally and I scrunched it to style it as normal, I need to add another product on top to get the curl definition I needed. It also left my hair a little bit crunchy when it had dried and made my hair look tighter curls than norm as there was no weight to the product. The photo shows my hair with just this leave in on it, to show the light curl definition it gives. My hair was still quite fluffy with just this product in it. I don't like the look of my hair at all in the photos below. Worth a try, but it's a 'no' from me I'm afraid. A nice product but not great for very tight wild curls used on its own I'd say. I'm using it now to touch-up fly-away ends on my dry hair during the day if needed just to use it up.

    I LOVE this leave-in conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturised. It is full of beneficial oils which promote healthy hair growth. A little of this product goes a long way; so do not use too much or you will be left with greasy hair. The product initially smells like a mixture of Play-Doh and vanilla - a bit odd, but not offensive. The Play-Doh smell fades leaving behind a sweet vanilla scent. The scent does linger in the hair; but I like it so I don't mind. I've found that this leave-in mixes well with my other styling products. It does contain protein so is great for hair that needs a little TLC. The consistency is loose; and the product should probably be packaged in a squeeze bottle rather than a tub. However, this is not a dealbreaker for me. I've purchased this product on multiple occasions and will continue to use it.

    I have very curly/frizzy hair, Type 3B. I found this product didn't really help my frizz at all, it just kept the ringlets I have in a very rigid ringlet shape. I also feel that it left my hair feeling quite heavy and greasy, so not really what I look for in a leave in conditioner - it felt more like a styling cream than a leave in conditioner. The product does smell lovely, and while it did not work on my hair, it worked really well for my boyfriend who has 4C type hair, left it feeling very soft and it looked conditioned, as opposed to dry. Overall I would give this a 4, because it worked well for him and I love the fact that it's vegan, and has all natural ingredients - unlike some leave in conditioners which contain silicone and end up crying your hair out even more. If you're looking to make your hair healthier after a lot of treatments, dyes or heat styling I definitely recommend this one - however this is definitely a leave in conditioner for curly hair! My sister who has very straight hair tried this and it definitely wasn't for her.

    I have very curly, dry, frizzy hair and as I'm getting older, I find it is getting drier and untameable. I've spent an absolute fortune over the years on anti frizz, intensive moisturisers etc with limited effect. Tbe only products that create a defined curl leave my hair crispy and sticky. This conditioner is a godsend. It has a light fragrance and is easy to apply, not leaving white residue or a sticky finish. The results aren't perfect but wouldn't expect it! Gives me a fairly well defined curl for 2-3 days after washing and leaves my hair soft without much frizz. You only need a small amount, too much does leave your roots a bit greasy but you can be pretty liberal on the ends.

    Definitely recommend a try and the pot lasts ages so very good value!

    First time buyer, I absolutely love this stuff. Leaves hair feeling nourished and healthy, completely frizz-free and overall looking great. I apply a small amount (dip two fingers into the tub and then rub into hair) to wet hair after a bath/shower and a small amount to dry hair in the morning - a little goes a long way and I would expect a tub to last me at least 3 to 6 months. There is no hold to this product so you'll likely still need a styling product/hair spray. My only slight criticism is the smell can sometimes be not very pleasant, especially if applying to dry hair, it smells sort of like cigarette smoke, but the smell fades off fast and is not overbearing.

    Wow! This stuff is powerful. I say that, because a little of this product in the hair goes a long way. Meaning, that a quarter size amount is enough to condition pass the shoulder thick hair.

    I have really bleached out ends and needed a new leave-in conditioner since the Mega Growth leave-in wasn't moisturizing enough for my super dry, sticky ends. This stuff made my severely damaged, severely dried, sticky/gummy when wet hair into normal feeling, smooth, silky, soft hair. I am impressed considering this is an all natural product. It really repaired my hair without weighting it down with product, since a quarter amount was enough to silken smooth the hair. The part of the hair that wasn't bleached out looks and feel like how my natural hair should be, especially since I do have mixed hair (I am a mixed of European, Asian, African and Central American natives), a mix of wavy, smooth, thick (as in I have tons of hair) and fine hair. My natural hair is normally silky smooth as my Asian great grandfather and Central American great grandma from mother side, but wavy from my fathers' European side. My bleached out ends feels healthy and thicker too. Stronger than before. I have difficulties trying not to touch my hair. It hasn't felt this nice for years.

    What I did... first off I stopped bleaching my newly grown roots, and use hi-lift dyes or dyes for darker hair to lighten my color to a medium silver grey color. Secondly, I used this leave-in conditioner along with a conditioner from the same brand and series. The way I used that normal conditioner of this same brand and series as a deep conditioner. I would take a small amount of that conditioner, mix it with a Fast Color additive, Platinum protein filler from Colorful and silver lining from Fanci-ful, and leave that mixture in my hair for 10 minutes, then wash it out with ice cold water. I make sure all of the conditioner is out, then towel dry. Do not scrub towel against hair, pat dry and wrap dry. After hair is dry or close to drying out put on the leave-in conditioner. I usually add leave-in conditioner when the hair is a little damped, not fully dry. The leave-in conditioner speeds the drying process and is absorbed better when the hair is a little damped.

    I did noticed my hair growing faster over the two jars I had used, but I think it has more to do with eating more egg whites and sleeping more than this product. However, this product does prevent the hair from falling off or breaking off, so it does help with the hair growth process in that fashion. As my hair grows out, I cut off the severely damaged ends which strengthens the healthier hair growing out further. Damage hair will make it appear that you aren't growing, but truth is hair does grow, the severely damage ends break/fall off so no process is shown. This product will assist you on maintaining the severely damage length, strengthen the healthy part and as your hair grows enough cut off the damage part so your hair will appear to be growing quicker due to no more hair fall outs and breakages.

    I am amazed that I don't need any other oil treatment or cream added to the hair, because this has it all in it already. Thank you for such a wonderful, and very powerful, product.
