Use Basics on their own or combine with Liquitex professional materials- if made by Liquitex, they are all intermixable. Great for sketching and underpainting. Nice selection of paints at a basic level.
There are 12 common colors that are great for blending to make other colors needed. I have used to make several paintings, and as I learn, I can get larger sizes of most used paint colors (white and black for me).

Customer service that did not report a defect item
I really needed the paints. When I did curbside pickup and got my product home it looks like someone used a box cutter to open a box and my paints had a slit through them. (9 of the 12). It was very noticeable so I was very surprised the staff did not see it. Most of the paint had dried up in the tubes. I would have returned if not curbside. Bummer.

Not enough paint for the price
The tubes are really tiny. For this price I would have thought they were bigger. The box makes it look like you are getting more.

Perfect for canvas work!
I bought this product in hopes of replacing the paints that I had used up and was very happy with these colors! They are absolutely perfect for working on canvas and great for blending new colors! I will definitely be purchasing these paints again.
