Product Description

Melange Coupe Dinnerware is fun, exciting and modern. The casusal dinner sets are tough, durable and designed for everyday use. Porcelain is harder and more durable than stoneware or earthenware. The water porosity is close to 0 percent (compared to 2% for stoneware sets). Greater the water porosity greater the possibility of moisture retention in dinnerware and hence lesser the durability. Vitrified at over 1300C, Melange Coupes porcelain sets are hard and stable. Melange Coupes is a great commercial product safe for cutting on with knives and keeping the food surface non-absorbent. Available in 16 and 32-piece place settings. You can choose from many designs that fit to your individual personality and lifestyle.

    I like these dishes. There are a couple of small things I thought should have been done differently with the design. On one of the plates (salad plate) Santa looks like he is riding on nothing and you see two black shapes on the plate. He is riding a white scooter, but because they put the white scooter on the white background, you can't see it at all--just the tires. The same is true on the dinner plate. There are supposed to be stars in the sky, but again, they are white on white, so they don't show up.
    BUT I enjoy these dishes, the pattern makes me smile and I will love them for a long time

    I got the santa set. Nice dishes but biggest disappointment is the mugs. The description says they are 12 ounce. However, they are 6-8 ounce mugs...8 ounces fills it to the very top.
