Quiet and powerful
As juicers go this must rank as one of the quietest ones on the market. You could happily use it in the morning whilst the rest of the family was still asleep without the worry of waking them up.The juicer is extremely compact. When we unpacked it I was truly wondering where the other half of it was. It’s super slim and it almost fits under my counter top cupboards but it is big in one area, it is heavy, I mean there is no way you are going to move it with one hand. I guess this weight helps it stay nicely in place whilst the juicing is in progress. The juicer is extremely easy to use. All bits have clear marking on them guiding you on how to put it together. There is only one button on/off so it couldn’t be any easier to operate. The silicone cap on juice outlet it is a rather nice touch. It’s extremely helpful and I am glad it is there as it helps to minimise any mess and spills. The handle on the juice jug is also a nice addition, making it much easier to move from place to place and with pouring. So how is it in use?Well, the quality of the juice is great but the feed is rather small so you do have to chop your ingredients quite small; the price you pay for sleek, slim design I guess. Despite being a slow juicer it works rather fast; I was really surprised how fast the juice comes out… when juicing soft fruit like watermelon, you will need two hands feeding it constantly if you want to catch up with it.The juicer handles hard fruit and veg with no problem, the pulp comes out really dry (our dogs love the carrot and apple pulp as an addition to their dinner) and I couldn’t get any more juice out of it but when juicing wet things the pulp isn’t as dry as I would have hoped. I really wanted kiwi juice but as it ended up it can’t handle it so well, so I am back to blending soft fruit. As an example 3 medium size apples will yield over 300ml of juice. How about cleaning? You can pull the juicer to pieces within seconds, which is a plus. I remember the first cleaning was quite a nightmare but as you get used to it, it really doesn’t take all that long. Things to remember: use the brush provided as it will save you a lot of time and frustration and clean it as soon as you finish juicing, don’t leave it for later as dried out leftovers will be really hard to get off from the meshing.Overall it is a really nice and fully functional juicer but I would wish for a larger feed and a longer cable. The frozen fruit attachment is a nice addition, great way to make healthy frozen desserts all year round.

After a lot of research we decided to purchase this product because Panasonic has a very good worldwide reputation. The juicer has been manufactured to a very high build quality, with no appearance of cheap components. Some prospective purchasers may have to read the assembly instructions which are quit clear but must be followed precisely. We have several mature apple and pear trees in our garden with an abundance of fruit. On our first attempt, we juiced about 1Kg of apples and pears with some lemon slices.
The juicer is not very noisy with the fruits we used and produced "fantastic" results, separating the juice and pulp very effectively.
The taste of the juice in our opinion is "out of this world" to the point where we would not purchase any more retailed juices.
Cleaning the juicer requires dismantling the moving parts and washing with warm water. We did find that some of the pulp did get stuck at the back of the pulp exit tube. This was quickly removed with a plastic cocktail stick.
The overall process of juicing/washing takes some time but the end result is a natural juice which contains no additives.
We have not tried the frozen fruit attachment and we do not intend to juice any bananas which may block up the juicer.
This juicer is "middle of the range" and from our first attempt produced an excellent yield of juice.
The juicer has a small footprint but is quite tall, most of the weight being in the substantial drive motor which makes the unit very stable.
We are very satisfied with the purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it. Of course, if money is no object then this product is not for you.

I've been using my Panasonic Slow Juicer for just under a week now and have completely fallen in love with it.
Upon opening the box, the gadget is very simple to assemble with very helpful instructions included.
I have the Silver colour which is a great basic and goes with pretty much any colour scheme in a kitchen.
To begin with, I was a little unsure as to the differences between a standard juicer and a 'slow' juicer, expecting it to take forever to juice the fruit. I was completely wrong! It's purely the speed of the motor which is reduced and not the actual juicing process.
What I love about this juicer is that it squeezes the fruit as much as physically possible to ensure all of the goodness is there for you to consume, plus there's less waste.
I wasn't aware until the juicer was delivered that you can also make frozen goodies too such as sorbets simply by using pre-frozen fruit instead. This is such an amazing idea, one which I haven't come across before. A lot healthier than an icecream and just as tasty!
So far, I have used a variety of ingredients such as classic oranges and some more unusual to a juicer (for myself) such as beetroot and celery. They are no match for the Panasonic Slow Juicer, it squeezes with ease.
The wastage is collected in the pulp jug and so easy to dispose of.
I've found that cleaning this product is very easy and is just as easy/ simple to dismantle as it was to put together. I wash by hand and have no problems at all (we don't have a dishwasher so cannot comment there). The juicer come with a little toothbrush style brush to help clean the hard to reach places too which comes in handy.
Absolutely loving this product so far & can not wait to make more!
