Gaming and movies are clear and crisp and full of awesome colors. Something like an oled may be better, but for the price of this product it can't be beat. *picture is from Spiderman (ps4 pro)

The picture quality is immaculate. The picture quality is on par with the OLED series with out the deeper blacks. However it makes this up in color saturation and brightness. 9/10 I would highly recommend it if you have the money.

Great clarity, Fine tune capabilities and even sounds ok without having purchased Sonos sound bar. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this TV. After all, Sony Cameras are used for most 4k movie shoots. I think they know what they are doing guys.

Great TV, I wish it was cheaper...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony XBR55X930E is an excellent TV overall but not without its faults (well, nobody is perfect). It produces very good picture and black levels. The best thing about it is its up-scaling engine that produces almost 4K-like picture from a good HD signal. That fact, its excellent up-scaling engine, was the biggest factor in my decision to buy it. And after owing this TV for a bit over a month I concur with many positive reviews on it. Now, it is not all roses there as I am sure other reviewers mentioned that this TV is not the best for side viewing and if you are watching TV from an angle I would advise to look elsewhere. The picture loses some color and sharpness from about 20-25 degrees but it does not get worse at more steeper angles. That shift is not much noticeable in a store where the TV runs on a (bright) 4K-demo-loop but once you bring it home and calibrate it and watch cable yep, you'll notice it. In the short time since I bought it, there has already been an update to its Android operating system that addressed the biggest complaint of not having picture/settings split screen when adjusting TV settings. So, it is all good there. And overall, despite the complains about viewing angle, I am pretty pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful picture

I did my online research and decided to order one. It is a 2017 model and originally sold for over $2000. Thrilled with the overall picture quality. The X1 Extreme chip does a great job with compressed cable channels and 4K HDR content looks fantastic. My small nit pick is blooming with certain content, but I’ve learned unfortunately that there is no perfect tv and you have to decide for yourself what you can and can’t accept with different tv technologies. I originally wanted an OLED tv but decided for now that I couldn’t live with some of the issues they are known for. The tv is very heavy, but that is because of the tech Sony used to get a great picture from an edge lit tv with local dimming.

- A:Answer Hello- The Sony XBR930e is a great television; well, it is much more than a TV. I use it for YouTube, Netflix, and so much more! For fingerprints and smudges, don't panic; you can simply wipe them away with a lint free cloth ( I get mine from Walmart), or if that will not take care of it, I will use one of those eye glass lens cleaners that are in the little packet (not the spray!) and then I will use the lint free cloth afterwards to ensure the screen area is clean and dry. Do NOT use any spray cleaners such as Windex, Simple Green or Lysol as these are too strong and could damage the coating on the TV screen. You can always spend more money and get a dedicated OLED TV screen cleaning product, but I do not think it is necessary unless you have a family prone to often touching the TV screen (young children love to do this). Okay, I hope that helps.

- A:Answer We have a 9” x12” window area in our great room and wanted a tv that would work in a bright room. Bought the 930E because the picture is brighter then the OLED model and glad we did. This tv delivers a great picture in a bright room with minimal glare.

- A:Answer This TV comes with a power brick, which is an external power supply. A normal size and shape two prong cord comes out of the power brick. It will safely work in any standard American electrical outlet. The power brick is actually quite large, I was surprised by its size, 11" by 3" by 1 1/2". I needed to mount it to the back of my TV stand. It would not look good in full view near the TV.

- A:Answer It's under a plastic cover on the extreme upper right side of the back of the TV, along with several other ports. It's plainly marked and it has a spring loaded cover over it (to protect it from getting dust inside it). I can't help you on the Bluetooth question, since mine connects directly via an HDMI cable.
