D Delayed Store Pickup and Lack of Follow-Up

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience using Bloomingdale’s store pickup service. When I placed my order, I was promised same-day pickup by 5 PM. However, more than a week has passed, and I have yet to receive my order. I contacted customer service several days ago to check the status, and the representative assured me they would follow up with an update. Unfortunately, I never received any call or email. Instead of addressing the issue, the estimated pickup timeframe on my order was later changed from “same day” to “5-8 days,” which feels misleading and unacceptable. To make matters worse, I received a request to review my purchase—even though I haven’t even received it.

Beware of poor packaging!

I agree with several other reviewers . . . while Burberry is a fantastic brand, my item arrived wrinkled in what appeared to be a well-worn plastic bag. It does make it seem as if the product itself might not be genuine, given the exceptionally poor wrapping (I have never purchased anything from Bloomingdales with such poor wrapping, much less a luxury item). It truly looks like something from an outlet rather than a full-price almost $600 scarf. Unsure if I will keep -- and very disappointed as this has not been my experience with Bloomingdales to date. It looks like others have said the same thing over the years so unfortunately it does not seem this will be addressed.
