End-of-Life announcement for Norton Core router and Norton Core Security Plus subscription

With Norton solutions, we strive to bring industry-leading, valuable and relevant security to help protect your devices and personal information. Occasionally, we reassess our portfolio of security solutions and features to ensure that they meet these criteria.

As a result of this portfolio assessment, we have decided to discontinue Norton Core. Starting April 15, 2022, your Norton Core router and Norton Core Security Plus subscription will be discontinued and will not be supported.

Thank you for being a valued Norton Core customer. At Norton, we have been working hard to expand our Cyber Safety platforms to provide comprehensive security, privacy, and identity protection to our customers. We remain focused on providing Cyber Safety through our digital solutions while pivoting away from hardware solutions such as routers, for now. As a result, we are retiring both the Norton Core router and the companion Norton Core Security Plus subscription on April 15, 2022.

Can I still use the app to manage my Norton Core router after April 15, 2022?

After April 15, 2022, the Norton Core app will no longer be available and supported. In addition, the router will no longer function as a router or security service.
