Brilliant money saving app!

This app has come on leaps and bounds in the past few years. After trying it a few years back with limited success, they’ve added so many more sustainable and big name brands to the app and have promotions in all big name stores. There will definitely be at least one near you! This app offers up to 100% cashback on so many everyday foods such as spaghetti, snacks and seltzers. GreenJinn really is for everyone, often promoting a great variety of healthier and vegan-friendly foods to try. Most offers come out on a Monday and run for an adequate amount of time.
The process for cashback is straightforward, with an effective customer service team on hand to quickly resolve any issues should products fail to pass when you first upload a receipt. Only £1.50 is needed to redeem cashback, an amount easily achievable by their range of offers!
I regularly save a decent amount on this app and go hunting for the offers. As I’ve said the money you save is great with a mix of freebies and discounts. Great meal ideas too. I have nothing but praise and have high hopes for the future in terms of what they being us next

Appalling Customer Service

The app, when it works properly, is good. I would echo others’ concerns that it is not always clear and easy to use. For example the same product might be listed at different retailers, but apparently this does not mean you can buy it from multiple retailers and still redeem the receipts, yet they never make this clear.
An additional issue is receipts just randomly disappearing off the app before they have cleared. GreenJinn take absolutely no responsibility for this and claim there is nothing I can do about it.
Need customer service support? Expect it to take two weeks between every reply, have a different member of staff contact you each time who clearly has not read the email thread, and ultimately a waste of your time. I have an ongoing issue that has had back and forth emails for two months now! They’re all very jolly and friendly, but I’d argue that’s irrelevant unless they can effectively deal with the issues, and they can’t.
There was an email sent out recently essentially saying “sorry guys we’ve been snowed under, we’ll do better” but I’ve seen no evidence of things picking up since then.
It’s a good app, but for the love of god, keep everything single receipt until it’s cleared and be ready to fight your corner when they claim they are powerless to resolve an issue which is clearly their fault.

Brilliant!

I don’t normally leave reviews for apps, but this one is brilliant.
You get a range of great offers for everyday and interesting items from three supermarkets, Waitrose Tesco and Sainsbury's (not quite sure why it’s just these three, but that’s fine with me). This includes own brand products as well as big household name brands. These offers can often result in really worth while savings, and I’ve noticed I can often get cashback on some items which happen to already be on offer in the shop, meaning you end up paying a brilliant price for things.
It’s so easy to navigate and simply take clear pictures of the receipts and that’s it. Receipts don’t get declined, and if you do have any problems, a quick email to the GreenJinn support team and the issue will be quickly rectified by the friendly people there! I just open the app up before going into any of the above shops and if I do end up buying something on the app, just keep the receipt neatly folded and you won’t have any issues. Great app, but I guess to make it 6/5 stars it would just need Asda or Morrison’s on there too!
