A: No they're as reliable as the big brands.- A: I store all my batteries in our extra Refrigerator all the time and it retains it power capacity. I never check on the expiration dates, for 48 batteries for SIX Dollars why worry so much about quality. But I never experienced a bad Insignia battery so far.
